for your advice and congrats. i was just wondering when you go to the doctors you no to do another test to confirm do they refer you to the hospital or do you have to go and do it yourself
My doctors didnt do another test to confirm, dont think many do think they just take your word for it.
As for telling you doctor i did stright away and then he told me to book an appointment with the midwife when i was 10 weeks seems ages way and i was shocked but thats how it was, then she does all your other appointments for you.

I got the doc to test me as I had not tested anyway. I dont think they will test you again but they did advice me to test in a week or so after I found out just to confirm.
After getting as BFP on a home test,I went to the doctor and he confirmed it with a urine and blood test...I later made an appointment at my ob/gyn and had my scan at 8 weeks....good luck...xxx
