Hey everyone. I just wanna say thanks for all the comments in my labour thread =) I'm sure you wanna know what he looks like and what we've named him so....


INTRODUCING

BRODY NATHANIEL

I've always loved the name Brody and FOB's name is Nathan so...

Well I started contraction on sunday night/monday morning and went to hospital but my labour was kinda on/off. I would progress really well for a couple of hours then everything would stop and then it would come back strong and then go off again. It was really annoying and they suggested I go home and come back later but I didn't wanna go cos I wanted to have my baby boy. So FOB (he was there the whole time!) said why don't we go get KFC and I was gone lol! I love KFC and it was just the pick me up that I needed. I was in labour for the rest of the day, went back to hospital about 5pm and Brody was eventually born at 11:35pm! I'm really sore down there but didn't need any stitches (which I'm sooo glad about) and I didn't have an epidural cos I wanted to be able to move around so I just had gas and air which was amazing! I don't actually remember alot about it hurting or him actually coming out but I do have pictures!!











We came home yesterday (cos I didn't wanna stay in hospital any longer and there were no complications and Brody was feeding. I think it was quicker for me to go home cos I didn't have the epidural or stitches or anything). Then FOB stayed over last night and has been really good but I think it's been a bit intense for him cos now he's buggered off with his mates But never mind - Brody is asleep now so I thought I would come online and say hi!



Now I'm off to change my siggy =)

Thank you so much everyone! I was so tired when he was born but the next day I was like so excited and wouldn't even put him down when he was asleep. And then last night when FOB stayed over, he got up to settle him one time and then just sat in the rocking chair we have with Brody on his chest and I was like "he's asleep, you can put him back in the cot and come back to bed now" lol! I wanted cuddles too
