god ive been in a daze all day. ive just been sitting on here rading random threads!
last night, i was on here and msn as usual (while hayden was asleep) and i heard the scariest noise ever. it was as huge SMACK and then it was silent for like 30 seconds. and then GOD DID HE SCREAM
it was horrible! it was so windy, and basically it is so so so hot in my house at the moment, so i have the windows open the tiniest bit (hayden can just about sit up by himself so theres no chance of him getting anywhere near them) and it had been so windy, that it had blown everything off his shelf, and a picture had landed on his head ! bearing in mind the shelf is quite a way away from his cot i have NO IDEA how this happened. and he was still laying in the exact same place when i got there so obviously i rang an ambulance right away, and stayed there with him. he has a little cut which id barely noticeable, but they kept him in until the morning just to be sure. thank god he's fine now. im not letting him out of my sight and hes sleeping with me tonight! ive only just started putting him in his room at night. hes sitting with me right now and thank god hes fine. i dont know what id of done! im still in shock, and am checking him every 5 seconds!
i just hope he'll be fine from now on. and that windows staying shut

thanks guys. i know i shouldnt blame myself but what else can i do im in shock but as long as hes okay ill be fine.. and yeah it was a picture frame of his hand + foot prints when he was born not too big. but big enough
