Can anyone tell me...

Roughly how much a baby should be kicking at (as of tomorrow) 26weeks?

Obviously i know every baby and pregnancy is diffrent but im just abit concerned that my baby isnt kicking as often as it should. I do feel kicks throughout the day, a fue in the morning and maybe a fue at night so i know LO is there but everyones else who ive come across thats about 26weeks has been feeling loads of kicks and even been kept up at night by it. Sorry if i seam to be stressing over nothing im just abit worried

Bearing in mind babe that at that genstation - your LO
is now finding sleeping & waking patterns! So when your
up and active - bubba is more than likely sleeping!
(also when you walk, it feels like a gentle swaying to bubba
which actually rocks them to sleep!)

When you're settled and laying/sitting still - pay close attention
and you might realise more movement than you first thought!

I have to do it too - my little princess sleeps alot during the day
and wakes when I wanna sleep

If you're worried about lack of movement, give your MW a call
for reassurance!

x

I didn't realise I was pregnant till really far on (further than 26 weeks) and never felt anything I suspected was a baby moving, although this may just have been sheer dopiness on my part...
Now she mostly just likes to poke me in the ribs, I guess some are just more restless than others?

If Lo has been moving a lot before this, I would speak to your midwife anyway just in case.

Its so important to keep tabs on movement, at 27 weeks my LO decided to stop moving - the next day she was here. I wish i had spoken to someone sooner, maybe they could have delayed my labour, I dunno

I wouldn't be overly worried, I only started feeling Harrison at about your gestation and what a good three weeks they were .

If you are a bit worried, a cold drink usually wakes the baby up or go and see your Midwife
