"She's not stupid, she's brave!"

I love my Mum

Yesterday we went into town to meet up with my oldest brother, i've been looking forward to it for ages!

But when we got into the Cafe, i got loads of strange looks and people staring at my tummy, (which i guess i'm kind of used to now) and when we sat down, we could hear the ladies sitting at the table next to us talking about me! saying how stupid that kids are these days and it's appalling that mothers let their daughters have babies at such young ages.

My mum could tell it was upsetting me, as we could hear every word, so she said;
'Excuse me, but i couldn't help overhearing you talking about my daughter, and i'd just like to inform you that she is not stupid, she's brave, and i am extremely proud of her. She is also nearly 20 years old so she is definitely not still a kid, So if you would be so kind as to whisper next time?'

You tell em mum

Thinking about it, it is so true! I think all young mothers like us are so brave to be doing this, my mum went on to express how she thinks that abortions are the easy way out, and people need to give more respect for the courageous young ladies that are raising children under difficult circumstances - and i totally agree

xxxxxxx
