| how many at the birth? i'm only really early on in pregnancy, but for years i've always wanted my mum at my birth, but my OH obviously wants to be there.
i know it might seem mean, but i would rather have my mum there if i had to choose. but dont know how i'll break it to OH
just wondering if anyone knew if your allowed more than one person.
i've been set on having a water birth before i even got pregnant so dont know if that makes a difference?
thanks. x | | | | Status: Offline

| check with the hospital hun
their water birthing rooms might be too small
to have more than one depends on the room sizes and what not
... but yea give them a ring im sure they'll be able to help you
i was allowed two for a natural birth
and 1 if it was a waterbirth or a c-section
i think!

| Like the others have said it depends on the hospital.

| My local hospital allows two people in the delivery room ( which I didn't know till I got up there - good job I only wanted OH in )
But you was only allowed one person to stay with you on maternity ward before you went up.
Ask your midwife when you see her x | | | | Status: Offline
