| Depo is a drug that tricks your body into thinking its pregnant kinda. It stops you from producing an egg each month. I dealt with the depo after I had to go on birth control because of severe ovarian cysts. Love Bunny is 100% right no birth control is 100% effective however it has been proven that depo is one of the least effective drugs lately. In my time on the depo shot after getting it every 12 weeks I had numerous bleeding incidents, my periods were all screwed up after i got off it for months, i gained tons of weight on it aswell. In my opinion its not an effective or nice way of BC. But for yourself i would not be worried as alot of the things you listed happened to me on it as well. |
