Very random thread, but didn't really know where to post this, so waalaa here I am, posting it here lol! Figured as you get so many good replies on this forum, someone must know something about the Wii! My boyfriend for Christmas is getting me the Wii + Wii fit for Crimbooo My mum asked me before to do a Santa list, I feel so much like a baby haha, i'm having a baby but yes mother I'll go do you a list haha! And I wanted to put down things for the Wii..but i'm not sure what to put. I mean, what is a Nunchuck? :S Lol and do you need these..and how about these docking stations and all the little golf clubs and tennis rackets? And remotes? I thought like the Playstation it would have come with a remote but it doesnt say it in the argos catalogue!! So if anyone has a Wii/knows about a Wii please tell me what I will need! x |

It will come with a nunchuck for sure, not exactly sure how to describe it but i think it just goes on the end of your remote. You don't really need the tennis racket or golf club because the actual Wii remote does it just as good. They usually only come with 1 remote so it maybe an idea to buy an extra one. I've had my Wii a while and love it |

The nunchuk is something you use if you need both hands for what you're doing in the game. It prompts you if you do or don't need it. I like it for rhythm boxing (so gets your heart going on the WiiFit). Above poster is right, you don't need the wii sports attachments to play, but I think they would be cool for enhancement. If you're a Star Wars fan, ask for The Force Unleashed, and the light sabers for the wii mote, they light up and make light saber noises. They have different exercising games for the wii fit, I have Wii Active, and it works really well. Anyway, Have fun! |

Mariokart is my fave - in which case get a couple wheels, u can do it without but i think its way easier to hold with the wheel. Enjoy! x |

You'll have everything you need to get you started but some optional extras that you might like are: Extra wii remote Extra nunchuck Battery packs/docking stations (the remotes take AA batteries so you might get these to save on keep buying batteries but its probably cheaper just to get an AA battery charger with rechargable batteries) The little golf clubs/tennis rackets etc are just to make the game play a little more realistic, but again they're totally optional I wouldn't bother with sleeves or anything for the controllers as most of the new consoles/controllers come with them |
