i know there's only 2 (or maybe 3?) of us on here but is anyone who lives in York doing the YorBabe course? or has done it already? i start mine in january and am really excited for it

for those of you who don't know, its antenatal classes for under 19s.

would just be interesting to know if i was gonna meet anyone on here there

My OH was telling me about it, He said we could drive their if I wanted to try it out?!

Doesn't it just focus on Breast Feeding Though??

thats sweet of him, is alderley edge far from york? nah only the very last class is on breast feeding and that one is optional cos they appreciate not everyone wants to

its i think a weekly class over the course of about a month and a half, they take you round the maternity ward and talk you through labour, pain relief and stuff and girls who were on previous courses and have had their babies come in and talk to you, i think its all quite informal like mainly just a chance to meet other teen mums-to-be and stuff

Yeah I think about an Hour & a half away So its like far enough to make it, but not like an uncomfortable trip, If you catch my drift. I really wanted to join a course kind of thing just to meet others.
