Ive only ever had a scan that early which was an emergancy scan with another pregnancy and so i just wore my usual clothes, but i would have anyway lol. I had an internal scan because sometimes they cant see on a normal one, but its nothing to worry about at all. Enjoy seeing ur bubs! x

They do it vaginally (with a wand) since it will be too small to see the other way. You'll most likely get to see the heart beat, but you won't get to hear it until about 12-14 weeks. Your bubba will look very much like a blob - kinda cashew nut shaped! Lol.
Just for reassurance - (I don't know from experience but) I've heard this procedure is
completely painless as the wand is really thin

To save time and make things a little less awkward for you if your nervous -
wear clothing thats easily put on and taken off. Perhaps a dress and tights you all you have to do is pull tights down?

Hope I've helped a little
Let us all know how it goes!

Good luck babe! xXx

Okay - I'll rephrase that then. Lol.

They're more than likely to internally scan you unless theyre
able to do the scan externally which is very difficult due
to where the baby is positioned (very down into the
pelvis) - hence why they ask you to go in with a full bladder
to raise your LO up more!

Like with all pregnancies - everyone is different.
Prepare yourself for both?

So clothing wise - something you can easily pull up/down/undo.
perhaps just normal clothes like a pair of jeans where you just
undo the button?

x

I think everyone is diffrent, they didnt just give me an internal scan straight away, they tried on my tummy and then an internal, i think it just depends. It is totaly painless, im quite a shy person and it didnt bother me in the slightest, they do it all the time lol. x
