I'm outraged!

okay, so when I got out of school today I had a voicemail telling me to call my doctors office back, I thought this was odd, considering that they said everything was fine. I called and they told me that my principal at my school called to "confirm that i was there" and to "ask if there was a medical reason for me not being in class"

The woman on the phone was very snooty, she kept asking questions as if i didn't go home and rest like my doctor told me to, and she asked if my school knew that i was expecting, which they don't, but i KNOW that the only reason she called to confirm anything was because the note said OBGYN.

I was so mad, I really think that it's over stepping her boundaries. It's really none of her business, I did what i was required to, I brought in a medical note. I've brought in plenty of notes before and she never called to confirm it.

sorry for the rant, but do you think she overstepped her boundaries?

It sounds to me like she did overstep her boundaries its really none of there business what you were in for.As long as ou bring a legit note from the doctors office theres nothing they can do and if they needed to confirm it id think theyd call your parent first then the doctor if they needed to.Did you tell your parents what she did?

leagally they r not allowed to let out any info anyways unless it is to you. your principal had no right to do that, its you buisness and i would go in and talk to them about it. if u r bringing in notes from the doc they should not call if you were instructed to do other things. talk to the skool if they dont give you a good reason to y they did that i would go over them and to the lead of the district.

I really cant understand why they called your doctors to check! If anything you would of thought they would of called your home to comfirm that you was off cos of an apointment with your parents but to be honest i dont see any reson why they didnt just take your word for it as you had a note! Stupid principal

just ignor them! and if your really not happy maybe get your parents to go in and complain haha.
