Questions about labor/ am i in it?

Hey ladies!
For those of you that have been through the whole labor process I was wondering if you could help me out. For the past 2 hours I have had bad period like cramps. They only last for like a min to a min and a half, they occur about 20-25 minutes apart. I feel like I have to take a poo (TMI I know sorry!!!) but I know I don't need to. My back has been hurting quite badly for the past 5ish hours. I'm 34w+6d Any ideas if this is labor or not? My OH is about to be off work and should be home soon. I just want to get some opinions on whether I should have him take me to the hospital or if I should just wait it out. Thank you!

Did you call your doctor??? It sounds like to me you could possibly be in labor. When I was in labor with Jace, I felt like I had to go #2 SO BAD!!!

Sounds like it could be hun, give the hopsital a ring and get checked just to be safe! Let us know!

it sounds like braxton hicks contractions to me. if it was real labor you would know. try drinking a bunch of water and elevating your feet. also try laying down on your left side.

not everyone knows if it's real labour,i certainly didn't! Can't recommend enough to ball the hospital anyway. I see it was yesterday you posted so i hope you are ok x x

I think you should call in, because you feel like you have to poo, that's why I am thinking labour, whenever I had BH I didn't feel that, actually I didn't feel it at all when I was in labour but the nurses kept talking about it. Good luck!!

My water broke (well, actually it just leaked all day) & I had no idea. I thought I was peeing myself

... took me 30 mins from noticing it to consider it an option, and going to the doctor's to believe it

My coworker was in labour (having contractions) at home and just thought she had stomach cramps from eating a big breakfast ~ she didn't clue in to what was happening until she told her mom on the phone her tummy hurt!

ring your midwife hun she will tell you.

i had a few false alarms in the weeks leading up to her being born so it could just be your body practising, good luck x
