My decision

So,I've been having some baaad sickness and I'm very tired all the time.So last night I was driving home from school and being so very tired I scratched another car...Thank God,nobody was hurt and the damage was minimum, but still the only thing I was thinking about while the guy was yelling at me like I just killed his goldfish was that I could've lost my baby.In addition to that,I haven't been able to think about having an abortion so I put two and two together and I got the result-I'm keeping it!I know that it's not going to be very easy and my life is gonna change and this wasn't part of my inital plan but it's here now and I just think that it won't be bad...I haven't been feeling sad or depressed since I got back from the doctor so it must be a sign, right?

I'm going to make an appointment at my obgyn so I should get my first scan soon...and I'm actally excited(another sign)...
I told my best friend and she asked me if I'm sure,I said yes and she said that she supports me,and I love her for it...I'm going to tell my friends tonight when we go out, then my sister, the father and my parents last(because they'll be the least understanding)...

So,I'm currently feeling sick, tired, scared and kinda calm...weird?
Since this is my final decision,I made some changes in my profile...

So what do you guys think, will we be ok(say yes even if you don't mean it)?

Hey!!
Its always a hard decision to make whatever your circumstance! At the end of the day the decision is totally up to you!!
I think it is a good idea to tell you parents as they will be able to offer their support and guidance as well as your friends.
Im sure evrything will be fine just look after yourself, once you see your baby on the screen you will be overwhelmed with excitement.
Good luck
xxx

I'm very glad to hear you're feeling more sure about your future now and that the decision has been made (it's always easier after that initial point).

Best of luck in your pregnancy and remember that we're all here for you if you need us so if you have any questions or anything ask away!

hey congrats, mama. I'm glad you make a decision that's good for you. Best of luck in your pregnancy and parenting!!

You'll be ok. Just remember, your family will likely come around sooner or later and don't listen to the arses out there that will comment on your choices. Miliions of women our age go through it, you can too.

*hugs*

Glad you managed to come to a decision. You have told one person and she is willing to support you and I'm sure your parents will come round even if it might take a while. I mean their gonna be grandparents so I'm sure they'll be looking forward to it soon enough. Once you see your baby on the ultrasound all your worries will just float away for those few minutes I'm sure. I wish you the best for the future. x

Thanks guys, reading your posts makes me even more sure in my decision(exept when you called me mama,I almost fainted,ha).
I know I will have support in people around me,but my parents are not people I can count on and never could-it sounds horrible but thats how it is.I'm hoping to have a better relationship with my little IT...

I'm sure you will be a great mum(soz I know that word is hard to get use to). As long as you have someone you can rely on then I'm sure you will be fine. This experience will make you stronger as everything you do now will be for you and your coming baby. I know you will do fine. These things don't come with a handbook every mother is different. Best wishes. x
