i've just found out i'm expecting. i'm not botherd about being a teen mum as age is only a number
i'm due june time, still haven't got an offical due date, but i know returning having this baby is going to affect my last year at college..
i was wondering has anyone had the same dilemma, and any success stories

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I fell pregnant when i was 18 and also was still at college. I finished up 1 day before i went into labour (i was a week early lol) and returned 3 weeks after i had baby. It was hard going but i did manage. I am now 23 and my wee boy is at school and am in my final year of nurse training at uni x x

yes it is definatley do-able

i was at 6th form but quit a few weeks ago due to a few reasons but its great to be getting an education and have a baby !

my only advice is go back when you feel like it, not because you feel you have to. Spend time with baby first.

i was hoping to go to college next september but ill see nearer the time because of my situation lol x

Well, I had my son after I'd done my last year at secondary school, I decided not to go to College straight away because he was due in November (he came in September) and I was planning on having 5 years off from education until he started school but when me and his dad split up in June, I decided to join College and get my life on track. I successfully started a 2 year course in September whilst he goes to nursery, he's 13 months and we do fine

So basically, it's definitely do-able but as Sarah says, don't rush back if you're not ready, there'll always be next year. x

I'm not a teen (26), but I am currently taking a class with a 22 year old mom who has a toddler at home, she's almost got her degree! It can be done. She works hard! If you work hard, you can do it. Might take a while though, online classes are a great option.

I think if you set your mind to it, you can achieve both.

It won't be smooth sailing as newborns/toddlers require a lot of attention and at times it's not easy, but keeping focus on your goal you will be able to do both.

Heya hun (:
At the moment im in the last year of college.
and im due in january. and my course finishes in June, so obviously i cant stay until then.
What im doing though is finishing college in decemeber, taking a year out, and joining back next december until june, so start of where i left of type of thing, maybe you should ask your college if there is something like that you could do ?
xx

Congratz to ! (: ,
yeah defoo, its worth trying your best to carry on!,
yeah im going to do as much work as i can at home to.
because my course is all based on coursework too, not exams so its better thankfully, but its stil achievable if its exams. It is alot harder being a mum and doing it, but will be worth it xo.
