I really wanted a baby when I was about 16 but also am very glad I didn't looking back because I've changed up so much since then and been through many relationships.

I remember one of my friends got pregnant after TTC at 16, by sleeping with random men. Myself and my best friend thought she was really lucky and had a great life because she had this cute little baby, she didn't have to work or go to college and she had what seemed to us like loads of money in benefits. In fact she managed to buy 3 brand new pushchairs. Looking back again though we are the ones who are in better possitions now. That isn't aimed at teen mums, thats just what I remember.

HI the_baby! im sure u read my post a while back. you kno i totally agree, and im falling in love with the UK. so many other US based sites jump on u and curse and call u stupid and other names when ur under 19 and TTC. its horrible really! but i love it here bcuz i kno i am capable of having and supporting a baby. im not 100% reliant on my BF in case things dont work out, bcuz nothing lasts forever. and i kno that if left single, i would still be ok.
i lost my baby last year, august, i had just turnned 17 and was 12weeks past. it was so unplanned and we panicked wen i fell preggers but when we lost it we both were sooooo devastated....
so we started planning and get things in order to welcome a little one of our own! hopefully ill b introducing a BFP on here soon!

I got pregnant at 17 after the first time sleeping with my current BF of a year, but miscarried at about 4 weeks. I was on the pill.
This time I had'nt been well and was'nt taking the pill properly because of being sick and antibiotics interferring. So when I said to OH that I was late, he replied that he was hardly surprised, then BFP confirmed it , I was over the moon. Im 18, OH is 19. Baby will be born 2 months before my 19th and OH's 20th birthday xxxxxxxxxxx

I'm 19 (18 when we concieved) and I wasn't planning on getting pregnant when I did... I was on the pill, but a tummy bug stopped that working - despite being advised by my GP that I had very low chances of being fertile after suffering from Pelvic Inflammatory Disease!!

I think it's important that teans who TTC are well-informed of what they are taking on, so that they can be sure that they are ready - but that is true of any person thinking of taking on such a huge responsibility -regardless of their age.

Ending the pregnancy was never a consideration, as my personal view is that a baby is a baby whether it's been born or not... so I have a lot of respect for all young mum's who take on the consequences of their actions and do their best to take on the terrifying task of being 'mummy' - whether they planned on getting pregnant or not.
