Well, Hello! I'm a newbie! I'm 16, due 18th January although it's early hours of 19th and no baby yet!
Anyway.. I was told about this forum via another and I seriously just need to rant!!!
Why is it.. when you go into town and you have a bag of shopping, wether it be a bloody primark bag or pissing harrods bag, you get called a "Benefit scrounger" cause you look young and you're heavily pregnant?!?!?!?!
Do these people not realise, My other half supports me!!!!! And I don't get any benefits what so ever. Oh apart from £12.64 a week..WOW that goes miles that does..!!!! Do these people have nothing better to do HONESTLY?!??!?!?!?!!!!!!!!! And if you're one of those people, on here to "Slag people off" then WHY DO YOU DO IT?!?
So judgemental before they even pissing know you! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
And, why do people, men mainly, have no manners?!
God..this all started the other day. In town, had a mothercare bag, yes it looked ramned, only because it had a steriliser in it and a few sale clothes. so this woman decided to stop, dead in her tracks, stare, tut grunt moan at her other friend and then say to me "Well... people who claim benefits should be shopping at charity shops, not mothercare. Mothercare is for ladys on maternity leave who work for the living" <----EXCUSE ME?! But when the fucking hell did you get told I was on benefits, and I don't shop in charity shops and maybe the mothercare was a one off. For all she knew, I could have had the pissing carrier bag given to me and was just using it!!!!!!! Now I have to admit, I do shop in charity shops. And I have got some of my baby stuff from them. Cause moneys tight. But for once. Other half got a xmas bonus, we splashed out abit. He told me to buy the steriliser I wanted (Bear in mind it was £11.99- not exactly the bomb) and told me to go shopping and buy some luxuries that we simply havn't had!
Then to make it worse.. I got on the bus home. The bus was full. I managed to get a seat then an old lady got on, so I gave her my seat. She couldn't stand on the pavement nevermind a moving bus. Out of respect and manners I gave up my seat for her. When I could have just sat there cause "Im pregnant" So anyway.. this bloke was sat down a few rows back with his bags on the seat so I said excuse me, can I sit there please? He said "You didn't pay to get on the bus, so no." (Cause I had a day ticketttt!!!!) So I politley said "You paid for one seat mate, move the bags please" he refused. EVeryone gawped at me. So I decided to make a nice loud announcement to the WHOLE bus, about how i'd given up my seat to the old lady, and it would be great, if someone who could stand up better than me, could give up their seat. Guess what.. NO FUCKER DID! The bus driver had to stop the bus, and say "I'm not driving anywhere else til someone gives her a seat. Shes obv pregnant, now someone give her a seat or you'll be here all day" Needless to day... I got a seat! Offered by.. 30? maybe more people!
See I wouldn't have been to assed if the bus took 15min but it takes over a hour and half so I couldn't have stood all the way!
Sorry...if you've actually read all of this. Thanks! Just need 2 get it off my chest. ******* MEN!
Omg how rude are some people! jus because your young and are preg or have a baby dnt mean you claim anymore benefits than an older person would, i kno i wnt be aither as i will get maternity pay and support from the babies dad. some people are jus to kean stick their noses in, without realising tht we prob actually get exactly the same as what they do!
And as for the bus i would have done exactly the same.

Hope baby makes an appearence soon hun!
The bus thing seems to be a nightmare for loads of people. I don't really get it, how hard is it to notice someone's pregnant and give up their seat?? What problem do people have with that? At least you were the bigger person by giving your seat to the old lady in the first place.
I'm thinking I've still got all the horrible comments and crap to come, as I'm only 15 weeks I'm not really showing that much so nobody really notices but if anyone does say anything I will be telling them exactly what I think of them straight back!!
Hope things get better for you hun! And welcome

Thankyou everyone, it just pisses me off so much. I mean i wouldn't mind if the bus was full of old ladies/men who couldn't stand. But the bloke with the bags was just a plain ignorant ass! Bad manners proper riffle me! I ALWAYS give up my seat for elderly, disabled ect. GRRR! I'm getting uncomfy now.. 1 day overdue...
Firstly welcome to the forum and hope your LO comes soon, I understand what your saying completely, I'm actually 24 and get old people saying to their friends " I wonder if she is still with the dad" which annoys me, I'm married to him but its got nothing to do with them, and they say it so loudly aswell, pain or what, and don't worry there is plenty of teen mums to be on this forum and none of them get judged by us, we are all here for the same reason x
Thankyou I hope he arrives soon. Can't be doing with this! Not for much longer anyway. It doesn't help I have a pink phone! They just think "Idiot" pink phone on benefits pregnant young slapper. The only reason I have a pink phone is because it was my auntys and she gave it me as I had no phone and needed one when I was so close to my due date! Incase labour started in town
At the end of the day you're going to have the most wonderful thing in the world in a few days and nothing a few narrow minded dickheads have to say will change that. Good luck with your baby & welcome
