Who are/did you having as a birth partner - Page 3

I had my mum, she was my rock. She was calm the whole way through, she helped with everything, she did breathin with me, i dont think i would have coped as well if she wasnt there. When came to pushing, she let me hold her hand (After it all said was holding bit to tight lol) Told me after it all she didnt look down there incase thats what someone may feel uncomfortable about.
Bit of a shame she probably wont make it this time, hopefully be grandma will be there, if she gets down here in time lol. OH will be there this time, god help me.

I'm hoping my OH can make it! He may be in training by then, though.
Otherwise, I'd appreciate if my mom could be there, but she went through this when she was 19, and I'm not sure she'll be keen on seeing me in pain =/

i had OH at the actualy birth but our mums were there during the labour but went outside and waited when things got going fast! they went about 3 hours before she was actually born but came back in within 15 mins when we were sorted out

i had my mam & DH there

at the start with my mam being there i was

... but honestly, by the end of it... i was totally naked and didnt give a s**t !...
it was good having both of them there, coz i was dehydrated... and one of them was going and getting me cups of water, while the other held my hand / rubbed ma back

! ... im 19 & trying for #2, and would defo have both of them back in again

im sure ur mam would love being there to see her grandchild being born...

I had a c section and unfortunately only 1 person was allowed in with me, i had my OH with me, taking lotsof pictures as my mum paced the corridor!

I had oh and my mum, thankgod i had my mum there, she was a lifesaver, oh couldnt stand seeing my in pain and kept having to go out because he felt sick.. my mum was the one who helped me get through it!

I think its better if you have someone there who has been through it themselves, i can only imagine getting p*ssed off if my OH was saying "Push.. PUSH" Id end up snapping and saying "YOU F*CKING PUSHH!!!!!" haha

I originally only wanted my boyfriend there and in the end it just worked out that my mum was there too. I didn't really care who was there to be honest i prob wouldnt of noticed through the pain!
