For the main large items I waited until 20 weeks so I knew what sex it would be but some newborn clothing I brought when I found out at 5 weeks haha! Couldn't help myself :P

i started buying when i was about 13 weeks. only because im quite superstitious and they say the first few months is the danger period. Jst waiting till my 20 week scan on tuesday now and then gettin my first girl/boy outfit

I did buy stuff til 24 weeks when we just brought 1 teddy!! I didnt buy anything else til 32 weeks when i went on mat leave tho, other ppl had brought me stuff by then tho.

aww but baby stuff is so cute some times you just cant help it. i have these beautiful white lacy booties, and im not even pregnant yet. every time i see them they just remind me of how much i cant wait to be a mother. x

I just saved saved saved, bought a little thing at the 12 week scan. Did not want to tempt fate, personally.

Had my 4D scan at 25 weeks.
Bought everything on a wicked week long shopping spree at 26weeks. Glad i waited, it was so much fun splashing the cash.
And then errr...had her in my 27th week and it's all blooming sitting there...

I started buying small things at around 8 weeks, baby lotion/shampoo etc etc. I'm still only 13 weeks and i have quite a few packets of wipes, nappies and freebies from magazines and things like that. I keep all of those in one huge box and clothing in another huge box lol... YES, i have bought sleepsuits, socks, shoes and cute little babygrows lol! I don't care what other people think.. For me and my circumstances it's best to buy the smaller things at the beginning because i have the money to add them to my shopping list.
Some people say don't buy until 12 weeks because before then, anything could happen, i don't meen to be morbid but it's true.
You'll soon learn that what other people think about you and your pregnancy really isn't necessary and you should just do what you want. If you see something that makes you go 'awwww' and is within your price range, pick it up! I would

I wanted to buy things the yesterday while i was out seen as i got vouchers for like argos and stuf and they go out date like middle july! and iv only just got them but my dad said to me its bad luck to buy things early but that will be a old wifes tale or sumat daft.. but i think im waiting now til after my first scan on wednesday make sure my lil one is there cause im stil worried something wont be right and i think im waiting til 2nd scan till i buy most things cause of the gender
