How do I sleep?

Hey everyone. I am almost 4 weeks and I was just wondering. How do I need to be sleeping? Is it ok for me to sleep on my stomache or do I need to sleep on my back or what? I would call my dr. but they are closed today and my first appt is next month. Thanks in advance.

You can still sleep however you want. It's not until you get a bump that you'll have to worry about how you sleep. I still sleep mostly on my stomach, but it can get uncomfortable. Talk to your doctor about how he advises that you sleep when you go to your first appointment. It's not a big deal at this point, though.

However you want, and enjoy it while you can!! My bump's not very big, but once I fall asleep, I stay on that side. In order to turn over i have to wake up, sit up, turn over, get comfy again, and wait to fall back asleep. It's such a pain, and anything else causes my hips to get a little sore.

So for now, you can sleep however, it won't effect your baby or anything. And enjoy it while it lasts!!

Sleep however you please until it starts to get uncomfortable. REALLY enjoy it while it lasts, lol.. because for a lot of people EVERY position for sleep is uncomfortable at the end of pregnancy

They say the best way to sleep is on your left side, you could start training yourself to sleep that way now if you want to.

Since you are so early you can sleep however you'd like but just make sure you enjoy that luxury for now because at 17 weeks I can't find any comfy positions to sleep in.
