Im only 17 but im 18 weeks pregnant, My boyfriends in his early 20's and hes really happy about the baby were going to have. We have our own place and i love spending time with him but Since finding out i was pregnant my boyfriend havent wanted to have sex with me. I have to literally beg him for it some nights.. Its not just the sex either, Its any sort of sexual contact that hes regecting.

I know some people dont like having sex while their pregnant but its usually not the men, Im afraid that he doesnt find me attractive anymore and that hes going off me. Now im getting abit of a bump maybe he doesnt look at me the same as what he use to. Before i was pregnant we were having sex every other day and enjoying it and now he doesnt wanna know. I ask him about it and he just says hes not in the mood and that its nothing to do with me. I know he loves me to bits and is really glad about the baby but why doesnt he wanna show me any affection?

maybe he is worried he might hurt you or the bubs?? Hes mayb very nervous this being his 1st experience of it too?

Yeah i thought of that too, But hes soo glad about the baby and so eager to expierence it all that he's read all the baby books more than i have and he knows that it doesnt hurt or harm the baby. =(

He might just not be comfortable knowing that babies in there? I know my friend said her OH wouldn't have sex with her when she was pregnant because he thought it was weird knowing that there was a baby and found it a bit freaky that he 'could be poking the baby'. I highly doubt it's him finding you unattractive hun. x

A lot of guys are uncomfortable having sex, worried it will cause harm to the baby or miscarriage or that it will hurt you. Also if he's at all stressed out about how he'll provide for the baby, all the things you guys have to do in the next few months, etc.. that might be killing his sex drive!

I agree with Jade. I know that my DH said if i was ever pregnant he would go the entire 9 months without sex because he wasnt going to do that knowing there was a baby there.

So I really would not worry that he does not find you unatractive or does not want you.

a friend of mine didnt have sex at all thru her pregnacy her oh refused to go near her like that cuz he found it "weird" but hes a d*ck to her anyways so this put the icing on the cake.

But when i first found out i was pregnant my oh was alittle freaked out and didnt wana have sex most men actually think they will poke the baby haha as i got bigger i wanted sex less and he wanted it abit more after i explaned he wudnt be anywhere near the baby

I agree with the other girls.. men can have strange ways!! Maybe you could sit down and just say you want to undertsand how he is feeling as it is affecting you.
