I am happily trying to concive with my husband of almost a year! I am 19 and he is about to be 25. We are living with my parents for the moment trying to save some money for our big move to North Carolina next summer! We have been trying for 6 months now and no luck yet.. We have decided this month to not chart or really try too hard. Hoping that will do the trick for us.. haha..
We have pretty much just now told everyone that we are trying to concieve... Everyone is very excited and supportive. We kept it a secret for a while not knowing what people would think, and I have had some medical issues in the past, all is looking good now though. Just waiting for our sticky bean!
Good Luck to everyone!!

i lost my virginity a month after i turned 16 to my OH, moved in with him 4 months later and started TTC around 2 months after that. I fell pregnant 3 months later and couldn't be happier.
It depends how much guts you have (lol) but i wouldnt tell your parents until you fall pregnant cos I told a few friends we were TTC and they tried to talk me out of it and say I was being stupid... which i imagine your parents would do too.
best of luck though in whatever you decide xxx

Just coming in to just make a suggestion from my point of view I became pregnant accidently at 18. If I could have waited I definately would. It's not just the money aspect. I thought FOB was "the one" and that we had a strong relationship. He left me in January and I have been a single mummy since then. I rarely go out, I did go on holiday this year but it was far from what a holiday should be, relaxing and a chill out. It was stressful! The advice I would give to anyone TTC between the ages of 18-21 is wait! They are some of the best years of your life. Going to uni, having fun with your partner, figuring out who YOU are before you bring someone else into the equation. It is very different wanting the IDEA of having a baby and actually having one. Bringing up a child is one of the hardest jobs in the world and one you don't get paid for. But good luck on whatever your decisions are

I couldnt IMAGINE even missing out on my years 16-21. Seriously! I'd never get them back!

I also would never have been able to handle what i'm having to deal with with Alex, in and out hospital all the time and her prematurity. I always thought it'd never happen to me.

Ooohhh I've been here a while and didn't spot this thread - didn't realise so many people my age were TTC

I'm Kit! I'm 19 and my partner is 22 and we've been together now for 2 years and have been living together for 14 months. We were very close friends for nearly 3 years before that so we know each other really well and are very sure that we're going to stay together - so sure infact that we got engaged on Christmas Day 2008 We were hoping to get married in 2010 but due to a few complications we're now looking at getting married in 2011, which seems waaaay too long to wait. Lol.

OH works full-time and I work 2 part-time jobs a week (totalling 25 to 30 hours) and i'm also studying for a degree in Business Management. I started my degree at university last year but made the decision to finish it at my local HE college instead as its much cheaper and because it enabled me to work more hours to fund TTC, Wedding and everything else lol.

In the meantime, we made the decision to start TTC this September but have since discovered that I have PCOS quite severely and i'm not ovulating so i'm undergoing treatment for that at the moment but we're desperate to get pregnant soon and I keep trying in hopes that we'll get a surprise Lol. Oh... I'm a POAS addict too LOL!

PM me if you feel like chatting anyone
