I know that if at 19 I was in the position I am in now then I would have been ttc then instead of waiting until I get married next year when I'm 21. As far as I'm concerned, once you're 18 then it's your choice. Part of the reason I've waited is because I've only just finished uni but not everyone goes to uni and by the time you're 18 you're making your own decisions about every other aspect of your life so why not this one? As for what you said about your mum, my mum's 47 and has told me that I must wait 3 years before ttc so she'll be 50! So it's ended up that my mum is the person that I'll be dreading telling most, which is far from ideal but not something that'll stop me! I've told DF's family about us ttc (well, ntnp really) after the wedding and they're ecstatic, which is really nice.

Anyway, basically what i mean is that at 19 you're old enough to make your own decisions, even if they turn out to be the wrong ones (although I don't think this is!), and you need to do what's right for you and your OH. You seem mature enough to be able to tell when you're ready and your relationship sounds strong so good luck!!

I'm not TTC yet but my boyfriend has said that he wouldn't mind trying when we're both 19 which will be any time after October 2010 so, fingers crossed, he'll stick to his word and we'll be doing the babydance full on in the not too distant future!!
As for living arrangements I plan to get my own flat early next summer and a job etc and hopefully my OH will be living with me by the time we start TTC baby #1 we'll only start TTC IF we're both in comfortable, stable jobs and living independently (i.e not with family). So fingers crossed... my countdown has already started as I'm soooo excited!!

I am in the same boat as some of you it seems. However I'm 18 (almost 19) so I consider myself a young adult not a teen. I have been with my boyfriend for about 3 years( he's was my first boyfriend and sex partner ) and we have a great relationship and are very mature for our age (he's 21). We have been living on our own since October of 08, and we believe we ate ready to start trying for a family. We are keeping it a secret and very excited congrats to all the moms and moms to be!

Me & my Fiance are currently ttc#2. I was 18 when we go pregnant after ttc for 3months and was 19 when I had her.

I am now 21 and we've been trying for a month now.

We own are own home and both work really hard to enable are children have the best up bringing possible.

pretty much in the same boat.
I'm 18, OH is 21. Been together 2 and a half years, rent our own flat, and are engaged.
We both have good jobs (working at the same business haha!) and both are families are very supportive of our relationship. and can't wait for us 2 start making babies haha!

I plan on keeping my job after I have a baby, I work 3 days a week, (30 hours)
Can't wait to get a BFP!
