I didn't get morning sickness bad at all...but still lost some weight in the beginning. I finally woke up with a little bump last week, and it seems to be growing more and more...pretty crazy.
with my 1st pregnancy i never showed any bump until gone 20 weeks and im a very slim person, with this pregnancy i got a small bump around 16-17 weeks and the morning sickness was horrific, for the first week of the sickness i couldnt eat anything just drink fluids towards the end of that week my and OH went to morrisons to do some shopping and i couldnt walk in there the sight of all the food made me sick on the spot after 2 more days of this i was feeling so weak from throwing up so much that i couldnt even get out of bed only to be sick, when i started to throw up the fluids too i knew something was wrong and had to be done asap so at 1am in the morning my OH said enough is enough im taking u to the emergancy all hours doctors surgery and he did, when i got there she asked me to do a urine sample to check for dehydration, when she tested it i was ++++ (the most dehydrated u can be on the stick) and she told me i have to be admitted to hospital that minuete unless i could drink a litre bottle of water in 2 hours, i really didnt want to go hospital so i promised her i would drink it, but when i got in the car to come home i looked at the bottle and burst out crying, i just knew i couldnt do it and keep it down so OH took me straight to A&E, i got out of the car to walk in and passed out completely, the next thing i knew i was in a hospital bed hooked up to a drip of saline and pottassium and OH was sitting on bed next to me hugging me with tears in his eyes, i was very confused and couldnt even walk, i was diagnosed with hypremesis (servere moring sickness) and had to stay addmitted to hospital for a week, they gave me injections to stop the sickness so i could try to eat but i was too ill to even think about food, after about 3 days id had enough and felt more up to eating so i ate everything i could over the next 2 days, they also gave me a vaginal scan to check for twins as the condition is most common with women carrying 2 babys but there was only 1 baby and i was only 5 weeks gone, they sent me home with anti-sickness tablets which worked wonders and after about 2 weeks of taking them at home and eating little and often the sickness faded and hasnt come back since (touch wood), im 33 weeks gone now with a baby girl, sorry to tell a whole story its just anyone suffering with sickness really badly should be aware of the condition so u can have it treated before it makes u so ill like it did me its also very dangerous as serious dehydration can kill, i was very lucky.
hey... i didnt get a little bump till i was about 22wks and a proper one till i was 27/28wks. midwife said most women dont show till there 28wks. as for weight i kept losing it till i hit 20wks.
