I would try with a male doctor, they can be very understanding and he wont have to do anything to you that involves intimate contact. As I always say, whats a moments embarrassment asking for the pill compared to the trauma that getting pregnant would be? xxx

I too suggest a local clinic. Mine always gave me 6 months worth of the pill, whereas my GP only gave me three months worth. And I always preferrred the clinic too - at least they spcialised in everything and knew what was best.
