Decisions! - were you always going to keep your baby?

Hi! i'm 18, not pregnant but thought i was last year, my bf wanted me to have an abortion but i knew i couldn't! I thought adoption might be best for the baby but I really wanted it myself, anyway it never happened, but did you all know from day one that you were going to keep your babies?

No my boyfriend wanted rid of the baby and i doubted myself whether i could cope. In the end i decided i couldn't go through with an abortion 'cause i wouldn't have felt right afterwards..but thats how i felt..for many people abortion is the right path. Same with adoption..for some people this is the right thing..

Hey, I'm like you, having thought that I might have been before, I came to the decision ages ago that if it ever happens I will not go through with an abortion... but I think it really does depend on the person, circumstances etc. Just decided it was not for me.

I did think about not having her but then I realized there's no way I could go through with it and that I can do this.

Abortion or adoption never crossed my mind when i found out i was pregnant, not sure why.. just didnt. I always wanted a baby, no matter what and i felt i was ready from the moment i saw the line appear!

Yes, i always said if i got pregnant young i would look at other options, but as soon as i found out they didnt cross my mind x

I dont like topics like this coz things can very easily get heated and unpleasant & im wondering why abortion is even being brought up when you're not pregnant?

I get that your BF wanted you to have one but dont wanna see this thread turning into a debate over something that didnt happen anyway if you see what I mean x

hiya well im 18 now but when i was 16 i fell pregnant and i decided on a abortion and went through with it,i then met my partner and i fell pregnant we were both over the moon didnt even consider a abortion with this one..

When I 1st found out my ex was really unsupportive and I was too scared to tell my mum and abortion crossed my mind. I knew I couldnt do it but at that second I felt like I had to..but after 2 minutes I calmed down and realised I really wanted the baby inside me and there was no way I'd be able to go through with it and told my mum.

It did cross my mind. Then when i was 8 weeks preg and still undecided i started bleeding and had to go into hospital for all sorts of tests. Luckily baby was ok but the thought that i might lose it really upset me and there it was my decision made. I guess i new i wanted to be a mummy all along but i was too scared to admit it...
