SANDS forum

Hiya all,

I don't know how many of you were members on the forum, but I received an email from Erica Stewart to inform me that as well as them making an announcement in the next two weeks about SANDS reopening (which you may know from the website), she stated that they were still hoping that it will be available for Christmas.

I am over the moon about this as I was heartbroken when it closed and have really missed it over the last few months.

Hope you are all well. xxxx

Hello

What was the reason it was closed? I was given a sands support book by the hospital. Not one for talking on helplines more so when it comes to talking about Lillie, as I always get a lump in my throat and find it hard to speak, thats why I thought the online forum would be helpful so was gutted when it was closed.
Is the Sands Forum similar to this one?

Hugs

There were a few disagreements on there so they closed to make it safer as far as I know.

I'm the same with the helpline, I've never used it because I find it difficult sometimes. The forum is mostly based on later losses, reasons, feelings etc. It also has sections for trying again and pregnancy after loss. I have found that there's a lot of things I could have discussed there that I don't feel comfortable discussing anywhere else iykwim?
