| Need some hope....How soon after your loss did you fall pregant It's been just over 2 weeks since we lost Harry, postpartum bleeding has now stopped, still have cramping pains though so unless we get a + on opk, gonna leave sex for another week or so, to allow me to heal properly.
Just need some hope, something to aim for...

| Babyell,
I'm so glad you made that thread. Wanting to be pregnant again is all I can think about and hearing other peoples' stories about how long it took them to fall pregnant again seems to be the only thing keeping me going at the moment. I keep hoping that my bleeding has finished, but everytime I think it has, it seems to pop back up again, very annoying. I'm desperate for my first period so that we can start ttc again. Are you going to start trying before your first period Babyell?
Jess - your story fills me with hope, just hope it works that way for us too.
I keep worrying that I'm obsessive about wanting to be pregnant again, but it is all I want. I'm scared that I'll never be though.

| I lost my daughter in February and we delayed ttc for a while as I had problems with bleeding constantly but I got my bfp 6 months later without trying and i'm 18 weeks tomorrow. I didn't really have a proper cycle though. I know that for the whole 6 months, I was desperate to be pregnant again but thought that I wouldn't be without a proper AF... I was wrong! I wish you all the best of luck xxx | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi babyC, My bleeding has stopped (so far, touch wood!) my plan is to use opk's every day and if I get a positive then have , until I get a positive I am just going to let myself heal, no point in having and risking infection if there is no egg to get!
It is good to see you ladies were lucky enough to get pregnant again. Just hope it happens for the rest of us soon, please santa give us all a BFP for xmas | | | | Status: Offline

How soon after losing your angels did you fall pregnant again (been looking at timelines but cant work out the time difference!)..? | Hi Hun
I am so glad you asked that question,me like you all I can think about is getting pregnant and of course missing my angel so much. After loosing my beautiful little angel Lillie on 22 nd Oct 09 I blead for 2 weeks and have been doing Ovulation kits since then but had no AF or posatives on the ovulation kits. Feeling really paranoid that something is gonna go wrong with my fertility now..... I just want things to get back to normal and I wont relax until something happens....Its hard because I dont want to discuss this with medical staff or friends and familie because I dont want them to think bad of us for trying so soon after loosing Lillie, scared that they might think we are trying to replace Lillie, that is far from the truth as no one could ever replace my angel its just that I feel really ready even though I am grieving Lillie. I Just wanted to say thank you for posting that question. I hope you get pregnant soon hun xx | | | | Status: Offline

| it took me a year and a half to get pregnant again. After I 1st had Sophie, it was all I dreamed and thought of, but as time went on and especially the weeks before I was expecting this one, I really wasnt bothered. I was happy to wait a few years, get a good job and then a house....but here I am, pregnant again but scared and happy at the same time x x | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi sweetie, it took me 5 months to fall pg again.
My doctor was very supportive of us trying right away. All he suggested was we wait until after my first period. I'm glad I did. | | | | Status: Offline
