| headstone? hi girls,
i keep advoiding looking to much into headstones, but i really feel i need to get one for maisie soon. the little boy's beside her is going up and i dont want her to be the only one in the baby garden without one. i just dont know how you can possibly go about it,its not the stone itself that is the biggest problem, its finding the correct words. everytime i try to look for things its to much for me and i stop....i still cant really get my head round having to buy one for my baby girl. its as if its going be even more real when it goes up.
i want nice perfect words but cant seem to find the right ones. just wondered if any of you could give me some advice
thanks xxx | | | | Status: Online

| hey lisa, im in the same situation, im going to look into a headstone in january for baby Jenny as it would be over 6months then. i dont have a clue what to write on there, i think im going to just put how much i love her and miss her and think of her everyday and that i will join her one day. and that shes not alone, shes always in my heart.
if i find anything nice i will message you, but i think you should keep it simple and put how you feel. iv walked around the graveyard where jenny is and theres a grave a few down for a old man and hes got something lovely on there, i will write it down tomorrow.
have a look around and see what others have written, it might inspire you xxxx | | | | Status: Offline

| Hello girls... sadly we have 3 angels most recent is max he was born on 13oct anf fell asleep after 2hrs... we have order his as i want it up as soon as possible, given the fact that we've now done this a few times...i know how heart wrenching it is... but if u need any advice on it then just pm me... i searched the net for verses i liked... on ella's....
May the winds of love blow gently and wisper for you to hear we love and miss you Ella and we wish that you were here... we also have on the bottom bit of her stone the plinth... sleep well little princess till were together again... all in pink writing..
Max's.... Your Presance we miss, your memorys we treasure loving you always forgetting you never...bottom bit reads on plinth..... love you always beautiful...
The masons are really good, shop around and look for someone that doesnt charge per letter you want a total price. Pictures are extra genrally 100-120. we have pics on ours. they also have a book with different style of lettering and verses and they basicly word it all correctly as well....
Good luck to you both.... Ella has heres on her gone to soon site if either of u would like to have alook... ella pollitt xxx | | | | Status: Offline

thanks xxx | Hi Hun
It was a different feeling for me in the sense that ,ordering the headstone was one of the first things we did after the funeral. For me I couldnt wait to get Lillies stone ordered as I wanted everyone to know it was a beautiful baby angel that lay in the unnamed grave with no stone. I look at Lillies grave stone as her eternal stamp on this world, even though she was still born she mattered and I wanted to show that to the world. It was very hard knowing what verse to add on to the stone,as alot of people seemed to use the same poems or verses. Me and Lillies Daddy decided to write something as though we would if we were sending a card to her. Plus we were limited on space on the stone as Lillie is not in a baby garden but a familie plot of 3 where me and her daddy will be so we had to leave room for our name on the stone.

" Always in our hearts our special princess, until we are together again all our love Mummy & Daddy xxxx"
We also have requested a picture of our beautiful girl on there too
Hopefully it will be layed before xmas. Just remember your doing this for your Little Angel, that helped me. Didnt stop me from getting upset at the stonemasons but those people are very understanding so dont worry. Also write everything down i.e like a plan of how you want the stone to look before you go in,it generally speeds everything up. If you do find it all to much maybe someone else could go in with your plans. As for finding a good stone mason, ask at the cemetry office, funeral directors or maybe you could ask other parents at the baby garden who they used. If you dont fancie a picture of your baby angel they can also add pics of teddy bears and many other images. Remember its your memorial spot for your angel and there are no rights or wrongs in what you do as long as your happy hun
I hope all goes as well as it can xxx | | | | Status: Offline
