Looking for others in a similar situation.

Hi everyone.
I've on been here randomly for a few months. Our baby Jasmine was stillborn on 21st October 2008 at 32 weeks. After a long year of coming to terms with her death (if such a thing is possible) I was lucky enough to get pregnant again. Sadly we found out on Friday at a scan that our baby's heart had stopped beating and i was experiencing a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks. I went into hospital yesterday to have medication to bring on the "miscarriage" and i came home last night. I am now trying to get to grips with the situation and having real trouble. I can't cry, i can't sleep or eat - even writing this it just seems like it's not real. Why do i feel so numb? I've been here before and know that it takes time and all that but it just isn't sinking in at all and I'm scared it's just going to hot me all of a sudden.
When Jasmine died the one thing that helped was talking with others who had been through a similar experience. I am hoping this would help again. I you have any advice or want to pm me i would really appreciate it. Likewise if there is anyone who reads this that needs to ask any questions please feel free to do so. Thanks for reading xxx

Hi darling,
I am so very sorry for both your angels. I cannot being to imagine what you have been through, my love and support goes out to you. I have never lost a baby near term, but I lost my babe from a missed miscarriage a week and a half ago, so I can never begin to understand all your pain, but I am always here to talk to about the MMC side of things. Have you booked in with the hospital, and discussed what steps you can take next?

Sending you love and healing

Thanks Drazic

I have been on the miscarriage forum and I read your thread before I went to the hospital. It helped so much to know what i might expect. Apart from a few details our MMC experiences were quite similar. I am hoping to follow in your footsteps and share my account shortly, but right now i don't have the strength. Hope our paths cross again and feel free to PM me if you want to.

Take care as I know it's still early days for you too. xxx

MinniesMum, I am sorry, I remember reading your message now. My head is like mush. If the only good thing that comes out of Edan's loss is that sharing our story made it a little easier for you after the pain you have already suffered then I will sleep a little sounder tonight. I am so glad we could help in whatever tiny way. Please, share when you are ready, don't rush yourself. I have always been a gobby person, it's just how I function! Thank you for your kind offer, please remember I am always here for you too. This forum is a fantastic place and it has helped me so much over the time I have been here. I really hope you can find some comfort too.

Love and
-x-
