This year has been so horrible. I just wish it would be over already. I lost Devin on June 6, my grandmother 3 days later. There's just been so many horrible things happening this year it seems like it's been relentless. Last week my great uncle passed away and now my aunt is in the hospital with a tumor the size of a baseball and they are almost 100% positive it's cancerous. She's only in her 50's. Please if you pray can you say a prayer for her. She's going for her operation on Monday.

I'm just so tired of all these things happening. This has been the worst year of my life.

Sounds like you have had a really tough year, just think though it'll be December soon, then it'll be 2010 and hopefully things will get better

I've had one of those years too this year so i know just how you feel.

I was just thinking what to reply to you and looked at your ticker and saw you got your BFP! Congratulations! It made me think that although 2009 might feel like the worst year ever right now, i wonder if in 10 years time you'll look back and tell your new son or daughter that it was actually the best year because it was when they were conceived and came into your life xx

I'm sure your Grandmother was sent to take care of little Devin. I know this is a little off subject but my Great Grandma had a best friend called Jack. My Great Grandma was admitted to hospital one day and a week later Jack wasn't coping well with her being so far away (it wasn't easy for him to visit) and he had a heart attack and died. The nurses told my Grandma not to tell my Great Grandma but she kept asking where he was. In the end she told her and an hour later she slipped away. I still think she went to be with him and I think your Grandmother went to be with Devin.

2009 hasn't been the best year for me either I don't really know what else to say. Apart from my thoughts are with your family. I don't pray because I'm not very religious but I will ask Chloe to watch over her on Monday.

I feel exactly the same about 2009 i got to meet my girl but didnt get to keep her that is the cruelest thing that has ever happened to me and indeed my entire family 2009 can hurry up and sod off New Year new beginning and big congratulations on your pregnancy Meldmac i am so happy for you xxxxx
