Tips from other single mums with 2 under 2?

It's just suddenly dawned on me, that in only a few weeks (probably only got 2 left if its anything like my other pregnancies!) I'm going to have a newborn and 13/14 month old, as well as 3 older ones to get ready for school etc!!!!

Anyone else here who is/has been through 2 under 2 on their own!? any top tips for managing!?

I don't have 2 under 2 anymore but I have 4 on my own. I find routine is something that I have to stick to or else I wouldn't be able to function. The older ones have had to grow up a bit faster to compensate for the amount of 'baby' stuff I get occupied with.

In the morning I get up first, get myself ready, then attack all the rest in one hit. If I feed Louie just before I get out of bed then he lasts till after the schoolrun before wanting another feed. I have also found white noise a godsend for keeping him settled, I can't recommend it enough, gets him off for all his naps, he won't even attempt to contend with it by crying so he does have that on for a bit in the morning until I being him down to change him. When he's changed I stick him in his jumper (when he was tiny in his bouncy chair) and then watching everyone rushing around keeps him occupied.

My 2 year old is a bit of a trial (aren't they all ) but once I've wrestled him to the floor and thrown some clothes on him I know it's only the fight to get him into the buggy left.

I think when you're pg the thought seems more daunting than the practice. I found I settled into having Louie on board with the schoolrun really easily.

I can't believe you're nearly due now, that's gone really quick!

Thanks for the tips!! Tell me about it, the end seems to have all of a sudden snuck up soooo quickly! I swear I was only 20 weeks like a week ago! Don't suppose it helps that Ive been occupied moving house over the last month, so baby stufff all got pushed aside!

If I can do 4.. I can do 5, right!?!
