How do you cope?

Well its d-day today i have to get support from my family right now i'm all over the shop.

I'm going to tell my mum tonight, i feel so guilty she is going through hell as it is at the moment and now her only daughter who is struggling with her mortgage because she doesn't have a steady job has to tell her she's 10 weeks pregnant and the father has run off and disowned us.

I am so scared in my heart i want this baby but i don't know how i am going to cope without losing my home - how do you do it? my mortagage is £600, and thats before food, council tax, electriciy, water...

what if we don't have enough money? if i go back to work the cheapes day fee works out at £180 a week

how do you all do it?

No matter wat happens u will always find a way to cope and im sure you have plenty of family that will help you to. I was the same, im 20 yrs old and my partner of 4 years was quite a bit older than me so i did think he would stick about, when i found out and told him he chucked me out on the streets really and i had to move back to my sisters. I paniked thinking how am i going to cope with no money etc, but its just you worrying, but honestly, please dont worry and enjoy being pregnant. Your family will always find a way to help you out. as what my mum said to me today xxxx

You'll work it out. It'll take time, but you can do it!

You live in UK?
I'm not exactly sure how it works there but I'm pretty sure you have a lot of things on your side.
Yes,baby's are expensive but you can get save some money up buying on e-bay or getting stuff from relatives.
Also, the sooner you tell your mom the sooner she'll be a support to you.

You'll figure it out. Also, you can go back to work,no matter how much you make,it's better than nothing right?

And if you want to go down that route, you can try and sue your ex for child support. You know,he can't just simply run away and skirt al his financial responsibility towards his child!

Good luck!

dont forget you will be entitled to tax credits as well which make a big difference. If you go back to work then you will get working tax credits that could pay up to 80% of your childcare fees

It will all work out hun chin up x
