Making things complicated

Through out my pregnancy i knew at one point i would have to deal with seeing Adam [Jayden's daddy] once he was born an now he is here things have got so complicated

First of all he came to the hospital after i had him an when he held him he cried his eyes out in front of my family [some of who he hasn't even met] an he isn't the type of lad who would even cry in front of his own family so i had to get out the room because it got to much !

He came in again, he is spoiling Jayden now because he knows how hard it was for me saving a scraping money together to get EVERYTHING. It just annoyed me that he waited for me to have bought everything for him to even offer getting anything for his son.

Then on the the congratulations card he give me it said on it 'congratulations on the birth of your baby boy' an he crossed 'your' out an put 'our'! I've never cried so much in my life, why is he doing this now

I think I'm fallin for him again..i don't want to! it will just make life so much harder than it already is
I didn't think it would really be this hard to see him, especially holding OUR baby
Every time i look at Jayden i just see Adam, he is the spitting image of him

Hes coming to mine tonight to spend some time with Jayden an i know i will have to speak to him but i honestly don't know how am going to get through, guess i will just have to bite my tongue.

sorry for the rant girlys xx

I don't know what to say...

You have to follow your heart, but remember that your feelings will probably be all over the place so soon after giving birth...

See how things go.... from what you've said, he's bound to do/say something that'll make you want to hit him... lol..

Yeah, but you're still at the stage where you can blame your hormones, and apologise later...

lol

I'm glad he's making such an effort for Jayden...must be so hard for you though, especially with your emotions all over the place after giving birth

Hope everything's ok tonight x

Guess it's better now than not at all but I'd be so mad that he'd left you to do all the hard work up to now and get everything ready on your own. If he's spending time with him make sure he does some of the hard work too (ALL the nappy changes while he's there) and make it clear that he can't just show up and be a dad for the good bits x

Good luck for tonight hun, stay strong, and tell Adam exactly what you expect from him/want to happen. It's great that you're focused on what is best for Jayden, as that's the most important thing here.
xx
