help!!

so my dickhead fiance has just decided that he wants to break up, he wants to give me 15% of his wages and 50% of everything i need to buy for the babies, he said he wants to have them 3 days a week and if i dont agree we will go through the courts and i wont get nowhere near as much, oh and he also said he wants me out of our house...

just wondered what i would be entitled to as a single mother to two kids? anyone know?

x

on benefits?

income support and child tax credits +child benefit

£64.30+ £129.71 +£33.40 (based on 2 children)

csa as he's working £20 a week (if he gives you more it will affect your income support)

oh and let him go through the courts, as shitty as it seems, if he gets granted what he says he wants and then messes you around, he loses his rights

He wouldnt get three days a week in court any way hun, so call his bluff and tell him to take you. Most judges will not allow over night access untill the child is three, so the most he will get is once a week for a few hours, maybe even less for your newborn when they are actually born.

Im not sure about the house, is your name actually on it anywhere? If it is then you are entitled to half, if it is not, then im not too sure... Is there anywhere you can go stay for a while with your lo, like maybe family?

And the benifits are about right as above, youd also be entitled to housing benifit aswell if you were to move out. But if your name is on the house i would try and get him to go, if he will that is.

Agree with what the others have said. Also hun if its a council house in both your names because you already have a child and are pregnant with your second you have priority over him as in he would be the one leaving not you (not 100% on that tho)

thanks all of you, no its not council house, its private rented in his name so if he says i have to leave then i do unfortunately going by the amounts up there it seems id get more than i do now so should be fine, am so relieved!!! hes told me now he was joking about wanting to break up, i think because he realised im serious! i told him last night that he would get nowhere near as much as 3 days a week and he was like oh yeh right, and how would you know that? have seen enough single mothers on here to know that he wouldnt get 3 days but he was trying to call my bluff...idiot!!!

thanks for all the advice
