I went and registered my little boys birth today. I do feel much better now that it's done but I got really upset when the woman was asking about the father

That keeps happening. Whenever someone mentions FOB I just burst into tears.

I thought I was ok with it but I guess it's just different now that my baby is really here and not a bump - if that makes sense.

I imagine lack of sleep and hormones are just making it seem worse at the moment.

The woman at the register office was really nice about it though. She did say that this way I'll have him all to myself.

I had the same, the lady kept bloody asking nosey questions, i dont no why they bother, if fob isnt there, its kinda a delicate subject, im sure they just ask to be nosey lol. Least she was nice though

Ahhh dont worry, sleep will soon come, maybe you have a touch of the baby blues? It will soon pass, once all your hormones have settled back down

Chin up

xx

Like Lou said, you could have a touch of the baby blues....don't worry it'll pass and soon those tears will be happy ones when your little man smiles at you

I was in tears earlier whilst Lola was grinning at me makes me so proud to say that I grew this little baby in my tummy and now she's turning into a happy smiley little girl. Totally gone off topic ha...what I'm trying to say is that we're lucky to have these moments to ourselves. And all our babies need are their wonderful mummies. (Yep, still feeling slightly hormonal )

Tbh i dont think there is a mummy alive today who can say they did NOT get emotional at some point post birth, Whether it was something to do with the birth cert, or smiles or the simple fact they didn't know they're head from their arse coz it was 3am & they had yet to get some sleep for the umpteenth night in a row... So honestly hun dont worry about getting upset at all . Ive done it sooooooo many times & ive cried making tea for no apparent reason ..yes im odd lol

It happens sometimes, its normal! and healthy! How old is Gabriel now? Glad hes registered now you can sort out ur child tax credits etc
