I hope you dont mind me asking.....but see the whole dna test thing....how does that work?

Its just FOB in my case is demanding that a dna tst is done once LO is born and i dont have a clue how its gonna be done as in do i contact csa and then he denies he's the father and then a dna test is done or something? Also who pays for it csa, him or me? I know i sound incredibly stupid but i really hadnt thought about csa or anything along those lines! And with just over a week until due date thought i should get an idea of whats gonna happen!

hope the meeting went ok for you!! Dont know why these stupid men do these things to complicate everything!! xx

Aw sweet dont aplogise, absolutely cool to talk about it.

Basically you need to go through CSA to do if you are pursuing finances that way. When they finally get a hold of him - about 8 weeks from the start of the process they ask him if hes the father, he denies, they set up a DNA test. They get him in first, then once his is done you and the baby go for yours. They pay for it so you dont exchange money with everyone

If you need more info let me know

Thanks for this!!

Thought it was along those lines lol its just confusing me....i never really thought about csa and getting finance etc from FOB but im guessing this is the way to do it lol also he should probably contribute to this LO seeing as he hasnt bothered his ass up so far!

Damm was kinna hoping he'd have to fork out for it as he's the idiot demanding one

Thanks though!! Flip it takes that long to get it all sorted out!!!! Thats ridiculous!!!

Guess he's kinna bit himself in the arse though.....because you only get 6 weeks to register LO's birth and him being "not sure" he's the father and wanting dna test done he can hardly complain when his name aint on the birth certificate!

sweet - if you miss the cut off for putting him on the birth certificate thats fine (although not great I will grant you that) however you can add him later if you both agree so if he gets the dna and all good then you can add it later

Good luck hun

He should pay
