mediation

My Ex has just sent me a solicitors letter with a list of demands about seeing our DS and i am really cross about it. I have always been very fair when it has come to him seeing DS and he has been nothing but horrible to me. I try so hard to be civil so that Finley can go with them happily but they are being so mean all the time. It really gets me down.

I have just phoned to make an appointment with a mediator to discuss his access after his request. Just wondered if anyone else has been to a mediator before and got any tips etc?

My Ex has always had DS for 2 whole days a week and one over night, which i think is very resonable considering he left when baby was only 15 weeks old because he missed his single life and couldn't cope. Now that Finley is older and easier he suddenly wants him more and i just don't think it fair and i know that Finley is most settled with me. If he had just spoken to me about it instead of going to solicitors again then i could have arranged maybe a extra night a month or something but he just seems to want to see me struggle. He knows that it is near xmas and i am a single mum, so the last thing i wanted was to go to a solicitor.
