Question about CSA

The FOB is still in college part time, so thats why I haven't bothered with CSA before, he has no income so wouldn't have to pay anything towards Kacie. But I found out through a friend that he's got 3 weeks temp work as of the 3rd. If I applied for CSA now I know it takes a while but would they backdate it, and would he have to pay? And after he finishes his temping I guess he'll be back at college, but would his details stay with the CSA so that in the future he'd have to declare any other temp jobs he does? or when he gets a permanent job?

Sorry, I tried looking at the website, but its all so confusing!!

No they dont backdate anymore, they start the money the day the FOB says his the dad, and if he wants dna, it'll be from the day of the results xxx
