Well I have my 1st scan 2nd December doesn't look like FOBs coming and no one else who knows I'm pregnant can get time off to come with me. Its not so much going on my own I'm just scared in case something is wrong, did anyone go on their own?
yeah i have. I went to an early one at 8 weeks alone and then my 12 week one, a friend came with me to 20week one and i paid for a gender one at 23 weeks and went alone. had one today a growth one and my mum came.
You'll be okay and there were a few girls on their own when I was sat at my first scan.... I think my 20 week one will be on my own, and I'm less worried after seeing not everyone had partners/friends etc with them the last time.
It really doesnt bother me to be honest at all.
I rather go alone than kissing someone's ass to get to go with me, maybe I can make one of my sister's go with me on my scan or else I will go alone I dont mind!
I went to my first one on my own, well to be honest I didnt know I was going to get scanned!! I was in Madrid and I thought I was sent to see a shrink, but it turned out to be a gyno appt and he did a scan there and then!
My Dad came with me to my 2nd one, tho I went in on my own. I prefer it on my own to be honest...
Yup, I went alone aside from an 8 week private scan I had. And I'll be off to my 20 weeks on Tues alone too. Like some others have said, not everyone goes with a partner - in fact when I have been its mostly ladies themselves so don't let it get you down!
