Well its done :(

As of 3 o,clock today I am now officially back to my maiden name. The week leading up to it I was so excited, I was really looking forward to it, seen it as a move on day, and step forward in my new life.
But I dont feel like that. I feel deflated Iv been really upset most of the day. I dont know why, maybe its cause its like a way of saying its definately over. I dunno.
I feel so pathetic. Im 24, going thru a divorce, with a baby on the way, and I havent the faintest idea how Im going to cope with being a single mum.
Why am I feeling so miserable about a name change.

Yeps!! You will be a fantastic mum!
Your bound to feel sad about it, no matter what you ex has put you through, he was apart of you life, and marriage is a big thing, its bound to take some time.

Have a night infront of the tv, eat some crap, and get a good nights rest, soon youll feel much better

You just went through a huge thing in your life, and on top of that, you are pregnant, and extra emotional. You will be a great mom, have no doubts!

hey hun i went back to maiden name before baby was born to, i know how you feel, it is like confirming that it is all over, although you already know that it is. it passes and i now feel good about not having his name and that my son doesn't haven't his name either.

It is strange writing you maiden name again, but you adapt quickly, just a lot of hassle changing your name with DVLA, bank etc.

hope you feel better about it soon x
