You can either come to a private agreement with the father or if he's being difficult about it contact the CSA.
But, if you go through the CSA and are on benefits, regardless of whether it's £5 or £200 a week he pays, you will only see upto £20 of it. If you are working and not claiming benefits you'll recieve all of it.
If the father is on benefits or earning upto £100 a week you will only get £5 a week off him. It's an absolutely rubbish system so best to do it private if possible.
Im assuming you're from the UK? If not them I'm not sure. Hope this helps.

Hey Actingprinces, you should be able to find a number for your city or the state online or in the phonebook for child support services. Give them a call and I'm sure they'll walk you through it or point you in the right direction. Best of luck!
