I want to get Ant a sat nav for xmas, but have no idea what i want
I have looked at various sites and TBH I am baffled, all the specs mean nothing to me LOL

If anyone has one or an OH has one please help me to know what i want

Thats the name of it - TomTom one GB - We got my Dad one and its great. We paid £149 for it from Halfords. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...category_84370

We had to pay more and get the TomTom one Europe because we live in Germany, but at least we can use it all over Europe!

You can get re-conditioned TomToms from Ebay, which are just as good and much cheaper (My sister had a re-conditioned one, I can ask her for the Seller name if your interested) - But you'd need to decide what one you wanted first!

PS - If you get a TomTom Just don't let your OH load a Woman called Sylvia on to it - She has a chat line voice and says things like "At the end of the road turn left, thats it, right there! - Now go ALL the way!" pant pant!

dale wants one for Christmas too Jo-he wanted an iphone (they have sat nav option) but that idea went tits up, long story!
