Why not a PS3??. I have got one on layby for my kids for Christmas. I looked into the Wii and with all the extra controls, numchuks and remotes it added up to be alot of money, and then the games were very expensive.

I decided on the PS3 because, I can play ps2 games in it and they are like half the price, and it also does those virtual games like the Wii does, you buy the eye cam and set it on top of your telly and it puts you up on the screen and it has a sensor built in so you don't have to hold anything in your hand while playing the game, I tried it out at the shops and it was great, heaps of fun.

My kids will luv it, I know they will. At the moment they have an Xbox, but I refused to buy them the new xbox360. I think the way xbox released there new machine and then instantly stopped making games for there old one, I thought that was a terrible way to treat your customers. At least with Sony when they release a new machine they always make the old games compatible and still release all the new games for the older machine for at least 18th -2yrs after the release of their new machine.

you can play the ps2 games on the ps3, but why get a ps3 to play ps3 games  the main difference in the ps3 an ps2 is the graphics, they are immense with ps3 games! but at £50 bit of a rip! esp wen the console alone costs £400+, with the controllers coming in at £30, plus an extra £15 for charging cable!

kx, does dale know tht xbox now own the rights to pro evo? its only coming ot once on ps3! darren is gutted!
