I'm probably just repeating what everyone else is saying but I too have joined just to comment on this. We were due to go on the 21st and paid £150for the tickets. Fortunately we hadn't told the kids, it was gonna be a surprise. I didn't however pay by credit card so i doubt i'll get my money back. Just what we all need at this time of year hey? I'll be checking back here regularly for updates though. There must be something someone somewhere can do no??

on BBC South Today, today they had a clip of Henry Mears phoning BBC Radio Solent and he says (not exact quote but to the point) ''I see nothing wrong with the park and it is enjoyable just to walk around''.

All I have to say to that, is that the park is not of a quality at all - Nothing but a 'get rich quick' scheme.

Hi folks, may I offer a crumb of comfort? If you paid by credit card and it was a "customer not present" transaction, ie you didn't give your pin number, then tell your card company that you are disputing the transaction unless the vendor can prove that you entered your pin. In other words insist that the vendor provides a copy of the transaction receipt stating PIN Verified.

Your card company may try and fob you off, or say they will charge you if your query is wrong, but as it would appear most people have bought tickets through the website then you'll be fine.

Secondly re the Director, yes it is Victor Robert Mears, 222 Selsfield Road, Brighton BN2 4HH. However for what it's worth the Company Secretary, Gavin Tanner, 26 Wembley Avenue, Lancing BN15 9JZ has the following information against him:

17 Directorships of Trading Companies
5 Directorships of Insolvent Companies
51 Directorships of Dissolved Companies
34 Resigned Directorships

So he's got a very interesting track record...........

Anyway, good luck, it may be tough but stand up for yourself if your Card Company tries to turn you down and you WILL be successful.

happy customers of lapland UK in Kent

Go to the one in Goudhurst, Kent (google laplanduk), we went on Sunday and it was brilliant! Very nervous that we were going to destroy the magic of Christmas for our 7 year old but it was great. He knows that all the Santa's leading up to Christmas are not real and that you fly in a plane to get to the North Pole so how would this work?
A magical 'pathway', elves, ice skating, real Saami, reindeer, stroking huskies... all fantastic. He hasnt stopped telling everyone that he met the 'real' Santa this time, who knew all about him! He helped the elves make a toy which 'another child will open on Christmas Day' and even threw a snowball at Mum! Lots more money per head but worth it, easily.

Oh my god, are you serious?!

I better rush onto the website quickly before they're all sold out..

What a joke. Surely they can't expect anyone to order tickets after the news coverage on TV and the radio!

-

Lapland UK in Kent sounded really good, but that was before I visited the New Forest one.. So now I'm a bit wary of those sorts of things Which is a shame because Christmas is my favourite time of year..

But the reviews look good so I may give it a go next year!
