Homemade Xmas Gifts - Share your ideas!

So this year we are buying adults a little gift and focusing more on the kids, but I am doing a hamper for OH's sister and Mother.
Then some smaller hampers for some friends and family.

I have decided to make some All Butter Shortbread, Scottish Tablet and Millionaires Shortbread.
I am going to put them into little Cello bags and wrap some Chritsmas Tartan ribbon round them and a little homemade tag to say what they are.

Is anyone else doing something like this? Do you have any fab recipes or ideas you dont mind sharing?!

you can make reindeer gingerbread - very easy to do. make gingerbread as per recipe. use normal "man shape" cutter. instead of his feet down put them upwards, they make reindeer antlers and the arms make the ears, you then decorate the head with raisins and a red sweet for nose.

Last year I made goodies for my side of the family. I made fudge, nuts and bolts, and jam. Also I made homemade wreaths and fleece throws. With the wreaths I bought plain green ones from walmart and tree decorations from the dollar store; got out my trusty hot glue gun and whipped them up in no time. The blankets took a little more time though............

I saw on a different website snowman soup and wondered what it was so i googled it and decided we would buy the adults in our family a small gift probably from boots 3 for 2 and the kids would make everyone snowman soup for the personal touch.
For those that had like me never heard of this: in a cello bag/cone put a serving of hot choc powder or buy one of those single serving packets, some mini marshmellows and the american version some hersey's kisses i think but we don't have those in England, so i'm using chocolate sprinkles. Anyway tie the bag with a pretty bow and attach a xmas cane (one of those sweetie cane's you can buy to decorate your tree). Then there is a message to add i had to google this, its really sweet something about when its cold outside add all the ingrediants together and stir with cane.
Kids are also doing these for their teachers. For their grandad's and uncle there's snowman poop (again google this for poem) this is mini white marshmellows or mint imperials in a cello bag with cute poem attached.

By the way the gingerbread reindeer are fab i might have a go at them x
