Hi ladies,

I wonder if anyone can advise on the constant straining that babies do? My LO is 5 1/2 weeks old and since 2 weeks when I sadly had to switch to formula we have been plagued with tummy trouble.

We have lately been giving her lactulose for constipation but even after having a movement she is straining as if she is in pain, upsets herself and only settles if I hold her and she is sucking furiously on her dummy. She did pass stools without the help of the lactulose for three whole days but for some reason she started to need help again. The straining only seems to start after her late afternoon feed and goes on until she sleeps but she seems so distressed by it.

She is eating well and sleeps a good five/six hours through the night between feeds so I can't imagine she's in that much pain but it is making us so anxious during her awake time.

Can anybody advise?

i have a 4 month old that i had a very rough go at as many of u know (open heart surgery at 1 day old, spent almost 2 weeks recovering in hospital, was fed through a ng tube). anyway happy to say he's thriving and healthy now . he had a rough time breastfeeding because he never got to latch on, and when he started taking feeds orally it was pumped milk through a bottle. eventually i got him to nurse using a nipple shield and sometimes he would get lucky and latch on, but i still supplemented with formula because my supply was f'd up. when he was 5 weeks old i got a vicious case of mastitis that landed me in the hospital and totally lost my supply. it was awful. i had a fever of 105 lol i kinda thought i was gonna die. anyway, from about the time he was 2 1/2 months i gave up and went to formula. i was at babies r us today and a rather overweight (have nothing against overweight people, youll see where im getting with the fact i mentioned shes overweight) lady sees me feeding him and says "too bad u arent giving ur baby the best nutrition there is. its people like you who keep formula companies in business," as she totes around a mcdonalds cup and her child with a mcdonalds happy meal. i then tell her it's obese b****** like her who keep mcdonalds in business.

what is wrong with people? why cant they keep their mouths shut

I guess it's watching one born every minute that has made me think about this as before I didn't have anything to compare my birth experience to.

I had an emcs due to LO getting distressed. Anyway when he was born he spent around 10 minutes in the warm cot they have while they cleaned him etc but there were no real problems after he was born as far as I know. Then he was wrapped up and lay in the cot for a few more minutes. Eventually they offered him to OH to hold and he held him until we were in recovery. I didn't really ask to hold him and it was all a bit of a blur. But thinking back now, most c sections I've seen the baby is still put on mum's chest and mum is the first one to have a hold. I wish I hadn't thought about it because it makes me feel a bit upset that it was quite a while before I held him and it was OH he saw first not me :(

But is this a standard thing to happen?

Mummies with babies in Nursery? A few questions

Well the time has come - I have to go back to work on 1st March :cry::cry::cry::cry:

Well the time has come - I have to go back to work on 1st March :cry::cry::cry::cry:

I went to look at a lovely nursery today - the baby room is from 8 weeks - 2 years.

There are always 2 members of staff and up to 6 babies at a time.

Its £4.75 an hour...

Does all this sound normal? (I know it depends on area!!)

Also my LO will only need to go into nursery 1 day a week on a friday - will he settle for one day only or is it worth putting him in 2 days so it all becomes a bit more familiar to him

Im so worried! Not about the nursery - there were plenty of adults - a lovely room and space to play outside etc but just about leaving my LO..

Do your Los enjoy nursery - I hate to leave him - 6 months is so young but it has to be done to keep a roof over our heads..
Also can anyone tell me what help they get towards fees with tax credits. We are on a joint income of about £32000 and ive worked out we get about £18 a week - is that right? If anyone is on a similar wage - can you let me know roughly how much you get - so I can do the maths (and hope we can afford it)

Many thanks :hugs:

Has anybody made an appointment for a de-brief with the consultant about their labour weeks later?

I had an horrendous labour, lack of pain relief meant I spent the latter stages half passed out with the shock and pain, (as did my hubby!) and the days that followed in hospital, and my re-admission, I heard -negative- snippets of what happened from midwives and consultants, but I still honestly don't know why it went so wrong. The weeks following i didn't WANT to know, i didn't want to think about it for a second but now I seem to have this sort of pent up anger/frustration/pain about how bad it all was and how I missed out on the first 4 hours of my baby's life

So my partner fed my daughter for the first time ebm at 6pm (she's 4wks old) because she was upset and crying and woujdnt settle (I had left her at 530 after feeding her from 438-515)...

I got home at 630 and since then she's had 5 very runny nappies!

Could this be :

A) she stressed herself so much in my absence as she was missing me or
B) the EBM was someway not good enough altho it was expressed only yesterday and stored in back of fridge straight away?
C) she doesn't like bottles etc?

Any advice???

I'm really feeling a bit overwhelmed and frustrated at the moment with LO's weaning and fitting everything into the day.

Before weaning, we had a really good routine where LO was having 5 bottles a day every 3 hours and all his naps fitted easily around his feeds etc. Day was as follows:

7:30-8am - get up and first bottle
9-9:30am - nap
10:30am - bottle
11:30am - 12pm - nap
1:30pm - bottle
2:30 - 3pm - nap
4:30pm - bottle
6:30pm - bath and ready for bed
7-7:30pm - bottle and then bed.

However he's been weaning for 2 months now and at first it was ok. I started him off with lunch of veg/fruit puree at his 1:30pm feed and then after a few weeks added in breakfast of porridge/baby cereal with his first bottle. However now he's having larger amounts of food and he's also sleeping a little later some days due to disruptive nights. This means he's all out of sync with his bottles as he doesn't always want them straight after food. I find that I'm only fitting in four bottles a day and he rarely drinks much of his last bottle before bedtime, so realistically he's only having 3.5 bottles and taking less than he used to. I just worry if he's getting enough milk or food and the right balance.

I also want to introduce dinner after talking to some other mums today whose younger babies are already eating 3 meals and with more variety but wondering how the hell I am supposed to fit everything in!! Also I am struggling to introduce new foods as I just don't seem to have the time to make up meals etc and have been feeding him.

Feel like I'm drowning in a weaning ocean

So here is a little bit of a background;
I went back to work when my daughter was 4 months old. Her father is a full-time student so I am the provider. I make my own work schedule so I am at home while her dad has class but I take her to daycare so I am not stuck at the office crazy late. So she is in daycare approximately 2-3 hours a day Monday - Friday. She loves daycare, and she is 8 months old now.

She has always been fine with me I come home from work or before I leave for work we spend all our time together and play and I take her on walks and to the park. Over christmas I went to my mothers for a week so I was around everyday all day. Ever since we returned from that week she suddenly won't let me put her to bed. I put her in her crib and no matter how much time it is she plays and rolls around and is energetic in her crib, I have tried laying with her but that only works at night, I have tried her playpen because my cat sleeps beside her playpen so it could give her the idea they are sleeping together, it calmed her but she wouldn't sleep.

Her dad and our daycare worker, I swear all they do is lay her down, give her her bottle and walk away. For me I don't even have the option for her to cry it out because she doesn't cry she is just energetic, even as she yawns and rubs her eyes she is crawling in her crib, shes is playing with her blanket, she is rolling around babbling and laughing.

What do I do?! Right now only her dad puts her to bed but he isn't home 24-7 plus I have to be able to do it at some point. Has this happened to anyone else? Any pointers or tips? I'm desperate I will try anything once.

Obviously we ALL love our babies... nothing I need to even try to explain, it's just that love you never thought possible...

There are some things in particular though that I just adore about my baby girl...

She has SO SO many cute faces. But my favorite lately is when she lifts her right eye brow up (while she's smiling or eating or just cause she can- lol)- she randomly does this. Never her left, just her right (unless she raises them both at the same time)- and it's funny cause I can lift my right eyebrow up well, but not my left... so I think she get's that from me ;)

Attached is a recent pic I took- after we got her 4mos height measurement. And she actually looks shocked at how much she'd grown ;) lol.

She is just one of the most expressive babies I've been around... and it melts my heart every day!!!!

Thers is much much more I adore about her... how she's STTN since 2mos (I swear she knows how much I value my sleep! lol), how sweet she is, how happy she is... etc... etc... personally, I think my little girl is PERFECTION in every way! But who doesn't? LOL ;)

Wanna share some of your favorite things about your LO right now?

A month or so ago LO went from sleeping through the night (approx 11 hours) to waking once, then waking twice, and now it's every hour or so!...

A month or so ago LO went from sleeping through the night (approx 11 hours) to waking once, then waking twice, and now it's every hour or so! Sometimes she's awake after ten minutes and just wants rocking to sleep, sometimes she wants feeding (bottle or breast, but sometimes she gets so frustrated with the breast she has a bottle anyway.. Sometimes she's so hungry she has both) and sometimes she's just so hysterical that nothing helps!

Sometimes breast, bottle, teething gel, calpol, cuddles, rocking, sshing, EVERYTHING doesn't work, and she may go down for 10 minutes then be up again! She does everything she can to stop herself from falling asleep too, from kicking her legs just as she's dropping off to moaning when her eyes are shut, to even knocking her own dummy out!!

She STILL has to be rocked to sleep. My back hurts so much now I don't know if I can do it anymore. I could deal with it when it was just for bedtime and naps, but not this amount.

And to top it all off, she's refusing food now. She had finger foods in the evening, and refused those first. She'd either ignore them, or just throw them on the floor and cry, so I started spoon-feeding her again out of desperation after receiving no replies on a thread I posted asking for help. Now she's refusing that! She's just clamping her mouth shut, even with things she likes! She did have her porridge this morning, but even that was reluctantly.

Please help. Suggest anything. I'm exhausted and at the end of my tether.

ETA: I should probably add that she's had a cold, but doesn't have a fever or anything, and I clear her nose with the aspirator and have had a vapouriser in her room for a couple of nights (but have removed it as it made my eyes sting - only a small room - so I dread to think what it was doing to her eyes).

Okay so this might sound sad, but since moving to Boston in Lincolnshire, my partner and I don't really have many friends. We met in Cyprus where we were living at the time, and came home to do my teacher training, then moved here (we have no family around here either). We now have a 3 week old baby boy, and I am stuck at home most of the time being on maternity leave. I have one friend with a 6 month old baby, but don't really know anyone else with children that lives nearby, and I would love to meet some parents, especially new parents, as this is our first baby. I am 27 and my partner is 24. Are there any mummies that live anywhere near me?? :)

Just wondering if you ladies wouldn't mind sharing your nite nite routine's for your lo :flower:

Do you believe in the calming lotions and soaps?

The night time calming lotions made me decide to use a soap for nite nite time(Dove) and a soap for mornings (Johnson & Johnson)

Since my lo dislikes the bath tub with a passion I wash her every night on a water proof mat... or she'll take a bath with me every now and again when I'm trying to stay on schedule.

Bath Time is around 7 or 7:30
we normally settle down in the bed around 8:30
we normally do either a story, song or classical music
overhead light is turned off and the mini lamp stays on to dimly light the room
then we Nurse in quiet
and she goes down.

She Has never STTN and if she did I probably would wake her up because I'd think something's wrong :haha:

When I put her down I get a chance to enjoy dinner, and finish putting together everything we'll need for the following day. :)

I am still not 100% confident on the weaning but it's going well so far...

Bottle in a.m.
Rice cereal mixed with formula and baby jarred fruit mid-morning
Bottle for lunch
Baby veggies or mixed meal for dinner
Bottle around 5 before bedtime (she is in bed between 5:30-6:30)

Anyone else like to share their dining schedules? :winkwink:

Also, lo fusses/cries sometimes when she is eating (food), and I can't figure it out! She still opens her mouth for more but she gets upset sometimes. I thought maybe because the process isn't fast enough, like she can just suck down her bottle nonstop, but I feed her quickly. I need a baby whisperer! lol

And do you feed lo as much as she will eat? She seems to eat an awful lot of the mid-morning cereal but I always fed her as much as she wanted with the bottle. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Freya has been for her review today (she has mild spina bifida) and we saw the registrar instead of the consultant. So he says "She won't be sitting will she, with the SB?" Er, yes actually, she's sitting, rolling, commando crawling and rocking on her hands and knees. Now I can accept they don't see many children with SB where we live, and they have admitted they've not had a child with Freya's type for years, so I can let that one go.

Then he says "How's weaning going?". So I explain she won't be spoon fed so we're BLW. He responds "Yes that's fine, but don't give her too many jars." Er, we're BLW, she eats what we eat!! Then he says "Is she on follow on milk?" No, because HV says it's not needed. So he goes on about how it helps ther immune system and can prevent allergies. Took me 5 minutes on google to disprove that one!

I just wish they'd get themselves up to date!

Rant over!

Hiya

My LO is almost 4 months and at the start she slept quite a bit due to jaundice then for the first few didnt sleep much settled due to reflux and cmpi. Anyway she does sleep often now. She lasts approx 1 hour & 15 mins to 2 hours max before she starts making her grumpy sounds and I put her down in her pram to sleep. She then sleeps for approx 30 mins up to 3 hours. Is she sleeping too much? We co sleep at night as she doesnt settle on her own but this works well for us and she usually sleeps from when we go to bed at approx between 10-12 til about 7.30am.

I was just wondering if she is sleeping too much or if she should be able to stay awake longer?

So i nipped over to my mums to do her cleaning ( i do it weekly for a bit of extra cash ).
Anyway, after about an hour, my OH text me asking how long id be because LO wont stop screaming.
I told him the tecnique i use when shes hungry but tired aswell ( she screams as soon as you sit her down ).
He said im not stupid ive already done it. So i told him to keep doing it!!

About 15 mins later i got back and she was quiet, i was like "Oh, youve managed to feed her then?"

He said, "No shes cried herself to sleep"

For gods sake!!!!
I walked over to her, and her whole face was red and her eyes were all blotchy!:nope:

OH shouted at me saying "im going out for a bit, im not cut out for this!!"

I took her upstairs, changed her nappy to cool her off abit, took her down again and did the tecnique i always do...and she had her bottle!

After he'd calmed down, i just said to him," dont you think theres been times when i've felt like just dropping her and running a million miles??"

Im so glad im only going back to work for 1 day a week, but im also dreading it because of this!!!

Hows your OH when their on their own? I know it must be scary because i remember being scared when OH went back off Pat leave.

Does anyone here know how this all works? In normal English words we all understand?! :haha:

I'm trying to figure out how much i'll save per month on my childcare if I sign up for these.

OK, so my LO's nursery is going to cost £558 per month (give or take a few pounds). If i sacrifice the maximum amount of my salary that is allowed (£243), the website my employer uses (http://www.childcarevouchersapril2011.co.uk/) says that the maximum we will save year is £900 (as my husbands employer does not do the vouchers).

SO ....... does this mean that £900 per year / 12 months = saving of £75 per month and my childcare will now cost £483 per month?

Does that sound right to you?

So I've decided to brave it and take dd swimming for the first time next week. Just been to sburys and bought the cutest swimming cozzy in the world and some huggies swim pants. We've just had a fitting session and I'm a bit confused (or just a bit thick?!). I'm assuming I just use the swim pant on it's own rather than over a nappy to avoid 'concrete butt' look? Also, do the leak guard bits tuck in round the legs? Mine didn't seem too tight and I'm not convinced it would hold one of sprog's runny poos. We frequently get runny poo up to her arm pits in normal nappies. Oh the joys of breastfeeding... Anyone got any experience of these swim pants or tips on how to prevent me getting red faced if lo decides to offload poo juice into the pool?!

as some of you will know i moved out of London when i was 5 months pregnant (against my will, might i add) i had to move because mum was and i had nowhere else to go. She is totally 100% against me moving back even though i hate it where i am and seriously want to go back, she really dissaproves :(

So, what i wanted to do was go too college down there. Im doing a Law course which is 2 days a week and i live say an 1hr40 away from the college. Mum totally says she dissaproves and its a ridiculous idea and how i should go to college where i am and make friends up here, but if im honest, ive been to teen baby and mother class and i just dont get on with people down here. Ive made the effort and now im 18 surely its my choice where i go to college?

HV advice on weaning. Confused

I saw my HV yesterday just to get lo weighed. She has always been petite but has just had a bit of a spurt and now at 16 weeks weighs 13lb :)...

I saw my HV yesterday just to get lo weighed. She has always been petite but has just had a bit of a spurt and now at 16 weeks weighs 13lb :)
Anyway, when she asked how old lo was and I said 16 weeks she said "oh so you will be thinking of weaning soon then?" to which I replied no??!!
I thought weaning would be a while off yet especially with her being small? I was expecting to wait till 6 months(ish) but she said they encourage early weaning so that by 6 months they are already used to textures and tastes. She said if I wait till 6 months before I start then it will be a rush to introduce her to things and she may have problems with textures etc.
She said 17 weeks is the earliest to start but in the next couple of weeks I should try her with baby rice, one spoon a day for a week and then increase etc etc.
I'm just a bit confused as to what to do now? Lo has 4x8oz bottles in the day and goes 12 hours at night. She is very happy and content.
Should I start rice in a couple of weeks as per her advice or wait closer to the 6 months as I had planned? (well six months or when lo shows me signs she's ready, whichever comes first)
I also read babies should be able to sit unaided before weaning?
I am so confused now?
Can anybody with older babies give me any advice??
Thanks everyone :)

Hi all,

My 7 month old has started rolling over in his cot and then moaning because he doesn't want to be on his tummy. During the day he can manage to get from tummy to back just fine but in his cot he doesn't seem able to. I am wondering if his sleeping bag is preventing him from doing so? Has anyone else had this problem?

I am thinking about relegating the sleeping bags to the loft (in case this is restricting him from rolling back over) but what on earth do you dress them in to keep them warm and what bedding is safe for them to use at this age? I am sure this is a very stupid question but I would apprecate any advice or any ideas as to how to overcome this rolling over/waking up situation. We are both knackered!

I have has depression really bad, and been on medication, but that was before kids, since I have been fine mostly, I occasionally get times when i can feel it coming and I somehow mange to get rid of it.

Now though I have 11 week old twins and a 25 month old toddler, this week almost every evening I have been in tears.

My son is going through a naughty phase, he has started hitting (might just be copying us winding the babies), he wakes the twins up, throwing toys, he scratched the face of one of the twins (accidental), he is just a crazy little boy and hard to get him to listen, he seems to be rebelling constantly.

The twins all week have been really unsettled, i think they want to be awake more but have no idea what to do, and unless i am cuddling both of them they cry constantly. I cant cuddle them constantly, i cant hold both the way they both want held at the same time and i have my son to think of.

I am busy, the house is tidy, washing always done, food on table etc etc.

Yesterday I broke my tooth and have the dentist and so stressed about it, just the logistics of going with my brood leave me in a sweat, without thinking of parking etc. My lower jaw doesn't numb ever so I know I am not in for a pleasant time.

I also had an implant put in last week for contraception and thinking that may be not helping, i had one last time i was depressed.

I just feel like I want to crawl into a ball and die. I have been shouting at my husband constantly and i hate myself for it, but i feel jealous that he gets a break where as i have never spend any time away from them.

I am hoping I will feel better when I have been to the dentist and its behind me but i suspect she will arrange for me to come back and have more done! Which is a mega stress and going out with them all is a nightmare and I dont have anyone to rely on to help, no one will help. My mum will come over and play with my eldest but thats it really.

So is it PND or just a phase?

I had a emergency c-section and the reason i didn't dilate is because the doctors said i had a high posterior-postioned womb? and LO couldn't get into the birthing canal

It was a traumatic experience for me and i've never had an operation before and my body went into shock as it was a really new experience for me and it took me 8 weeks to fully recover.

Im scared that i may go through another section as my DH and i would like a sibling for our LO. I keep telling DH im scared but he doesn't really understand what i went through emotionally and physically

I can't understand how some women can go through x3 sections IMO  has anyone had a high postioned womb? did they give birth naturally?

My daughters three months old. I'm pretty sure she's teething.
I've been bought teething rings and teething gel.

What do I do though?
I have no female relative or friend to ask. I know it's such a dumb question, but I really don't know.

When do I give her the teething gel? Do I just put it on her gums when I assume she's teething? When do I stop using it?

And as for the teething rings, when do I give her them? I presume I put them in the fridge to make them cold to numb her gums?

Any other teething things I should have/what should I know  I feel so dumb. Sorry.

I have a friend who is 12 weeks pregnant (and has her first scan today! :) ) but the shine has been taken off it by her stupid doctors! When she had a urine test done a couple of weeks ago they found red blood cells and 2 more urine tests (they lost one sample :growlmad: ) she's still none the wiser. They've taken some blood but she won't have the result till monday.

So like I say she's so worried about this that she can't relax and enjoy her scan today.

So I just wondered if anyone on here had the same thing happen and can explain what it could be? As her doctors won't tell her anything.

I really want to reassure her but have no experience of it. I'm thinking if it was serious the docs wouldn't be taking so long about it but they seem pretty incompetent to me!

She is also on BnB but is too scared to ask for herself in first tri so I'm asking for her lol

Thanks girls xx

Did it work?

Betweem 7 and 11, my 3 month LO has 6 6oz bottles, during the night they have started waking up three times for food. I breast feed during the night, so maybe it is a comfort thing. But they certainly seem to guzzle it down. My LO used to sleep through the night, this has only been happening for the last 3 weeks. Should I try hungry baby milk?

Like during the day being a mum is great, I love getting her up and dressed and stuff but then come the night time when it's taking ages to get her back to sleep, I feel awful, a failure, worst mum ever, then i start thinking, she she prefer my mum to me and her daddy to me. (my partner sleep at his on work nights) then I think do I love her as much as I should, I feel so stressed out and teary but she's not even that bad. The next day I'm thinking she was alright but at the time I think she's devil child.
I think I just dread the nights as I like my sleep and haven't had a good nights sleep since about 35 weeks pregnant!
I guess it's just hard work, harder then I thought, but then again I still feel happy n blessed.

Hi ladies,

I'm expecting my first child and have been reading reviews on crib mattresses online trying to figure out what brand/type to get and how much I should spend. I'm planning on getting a convertible crib so I would like the mattress to last for a while (from infancy through the toddler years at least). I know that everyone has various opinions, but after doing all this research I feel more confused. Can you please tell me which mattress you have and if you've experienced problems with it sagging after being used a bit? The mattress is really important to me because they'll spend a lot of time on it and I want it to be safe (firm enough), easy to clean and lift when changing sheets, and last so it is worth the expense. Thanks for all your help!

Hi

Does anyone have any experience of this in a newborn?

I noticed a small pea sized lump on my babies neck, GP sent us to hospital and they advised that it is subcutaneous fat necrosis. They believe it has been caused by the forceps delivery 1 week ago. They then took bloods and he has high calcium. They want to see him again on friday to repeat bloods.

The registrar also mentioned cold stress, after delivery he was monitored as he was cold and placed under a lamp. The doc said to keep room temp at 21. over night it has been about 18 in our room. I swaddle him in a gro-swaddle and the put a cellular blanket folded twice over him. He seems plenty warm enough. I am now worried if he is warm enough over night. He always feels warm to touch on his chest.

Anyway if anyone can shed any light or offer reassurance I would appreciate it.

Thanks for reading.

x

Were currently going through wonder week 26 and one word...NIGHTMARE! haha, but i keep in mind it'll all be worth it once its over. Kai's sitting up unaided and is officially mobile, pushing himself along the floor (back and front) and its crazy trying to keep up with him. He's on one meal a day (banana poridge, his fave!) and is generally doing really well!
Very limited space in my bag and I just think that with it being my first baby that I may possibly overthink things and don't need to pack everything bar the kitchen sink!!

Well after getting a Mamas and papas sling with Jack - we hardly ever used it it was a right pain to put on if someone else was there and I never really got the hang of it.

This time I bought a moby - but I don't really like that either - I want something I can throw on quick and not worried about dangling in the road etc. I want something I can easily and quicky take on and off really.

This is so I can baby wear and have my hands free to do stuff with my toddler - especially when we are out and about - so I can keep up with him etc.

Where are they coming from?? My mum suggested from her sticking her legs through the cot bars, but she sleeps in a sleeping bag so it's not that. Could it be from crawling? They just keep appearing! Not big ones, not nasty ones, just tiny bruises on her shins, what is she banging them on? :dohh:

I'm just being nosey really to see if my DS is doing what he should kind of be doing. I know every baby is different but it's still reassuring :)
My LO still isn't properly crawling more commando with his arms but his legs are up underneath him. He's got 6 teeth and another 2 are coming through. Still on 3 bottles a day but doesn't take much of the bottle after his big lunchtime sleep. He likes to pull down the bumpers on his cot before he goes to sleep at lunchtime which is funny to listen to as he gets so excited. He tries to pull himself up but struggles with the combination of laminate flooring añd leather sofas as he can't grab onto anything. He says dada and mumma and nana. He is just so funny he constantly makes me laugh
What are your bubbas up too?

... were they different? I've been told by the midwives that every pregnancy and labour is different - but following my first I will be high risk so no hope of ever having a water birth. As much as I want a second baby, I do feel in the back of my mind, that I will be worrying the whole time about what will happen.

Has anyone had a bad experience and then a good one? I suffered from anemia, pre eclampsia, was in hospital before two inductions and then a second degree tear, a retained placenta and two litre blood loss. Anyone had something like this and then had an easier birth second time around?
