Best day turned to worst ever- 12 week scan then ambulance!

Yesterday morning I had my 12 weeks scan, saw baby happy and healthy licking around! Then last night was sat watching tv and felt warm down there and was covered in blood, all over! I got up and it poured all down my leg! No clots or tissues just bright red blood. Oh rang for an ambulance while I sat shivering and crying my eyes out. A and e did nothing and told me to go back today for a scan. Scan is booked for 9:15 and I'm petrified, im still spotting bright red blood.

Has anyone heard of anything like this and baby be ok? How can everything be fine in the morning and not 10 hours later! I'm so scared, I'm having little cramps a bit like period pains but nothing agonising! I'm so scared I'm losing my baby only hours after seeing it kicking and heart beating away!

I want to keep my baby but I shouldn't

I want to have my baby i'm 22 in University the FOB i'v known him and his family for years.

My mom does not want me to have it she is worried I won't be able to take care of it. I plan on going to school part time after I had it to Finnish the rest of my schooling that will be another two years. I know my mom would take care of it while i'm at school. But for now I don't know how i'd pay for it once it's born I only work part time so i'm worried about that. I don't know how my family would react if I kept it likely not very well :nope:. Also does the fathers family ever help with the baby? everything i'v seen in the media ex it usually always just seems to be the mothers family who helps with the baby.

No one seems really happy about this but me!!! :(

My husband obviously agreed to having another baby but he seems totally indifferent to it. He even changes the subject when I talk about the new baby. I asked him if he was excited and he said yes but it doesn't seem that way. He was way more excited when I was pregnant with my daughter.

Also, my grandparents (who raised me) don't seem to be happy about it! When they were when I was pregnant with my daughter.

I want to cry.

Going through caffeine withdrawal

I was reading how bad it is to drink a lot of caffeine while pregnant so have cut down to almost nothing but between being tired from being pregnant and not having caffeine I am dying. Is there anything that anyone can suggest to make this transition easier, like maybe a food or something that will give me some extra energy but is safe for the baby?

I take baths all the time. Im addicted to hot water. I feel crampy and tired and just want to soak. I read that its ok as long as i dont spend too much time in there. Plus Im in the process of moving this weekend and already took down my shower curtain without thinking about it. bath is the only option lol. how do you ladies feel about it??

Okay girls, some of you know and some don't but I got into a HUGE fight with my sister last night. She had a c-section and told me I wasn't welcome to come and see my niece until today (long long long story).

I was really hurt and sad. I cried most of last night. I was really angry this morning but still drove out to visit my sister and my new niece (Layla).

I walked into her room wanting to confront her....and I was faced with this....and my heart melted and I forgot about being sad and angry. To hear her cry and watch her smack her lips because she wanted the breast was sooo adorable. I wasn't even in the room 5 seconds and I fell in love!

Introducing Layla Rosalyn weighing 4 lbs and 11 oz. 17 inches long. :cloud9:

(She was having trouble breathing on her own for a few hours last night and they were monitoring her heart (it's why she has the leads on) but now she is lead free and doing well without any support!)

I had an appt and I feel i understand things but I am still on the "Is he just being nice" state of mind

THe last 2 days i have had cramps that litteraly make me cry, heating pad on my back, no spotting though.

Went to the dr today, couldn't hear the HB as I am only 6 weeks, but he heard the blood flow pumping through the placenta?? is that a normal thing to hear??

Also he said my cervix seemed good (what is good?) and that my uterus was about the size of 10weeks?? (I am only 8 based off of scan and HB at 6wks)

All these things seem positive, but no proof till wednesday...

any reassurance?

ultrasound dating and late ovulation question

I had my last regular period around the beginning of november. I begin taking birth control at the end of november which skipped a period. I lost my pack and stop taking the birth control about 3 weeks later. I had a period A week after that which was a week before my normal period would have began if I did not take the birth control. So I had a light cycle begin december 23rd.. my regular cycle would have started december 31st if I never skiped a perood With birth control. Given that my next cycle woul:happydance:d have been about january 28th.

I went in for a dating an ultrasound because of my irregular cycle due to the birth control and not knowing exactly how far along I was. Today they measured me at 6 weeks 5 days.. meanin conception would have been around january 7.. I had intercourse on the fifth and the 11th. I had spotting on the 28th, the day that I would have started my cycle if I was still on my regular cycle without the birth control. Which is 14 days after the 14th, the day i *believe* i would have ovulated.. making the 11th (or soon after) my conception date.

My question is.. does the early autosound take into consideration 21 day ovulation or is it only 14 day? Is it possible I'm still 6 weeks 5 days if I conceived on the 11th.. or would they be a week off and say I'm only 6 weeks? Trying to figure out how are a true sounds work as far is figuring out conception date.. because when I put it into a calculator it gives me a 7 to 10 days range for possible conception. So when measuring in an ultrasound is it always just adding 14 days or can it be the 21 day and adding 21 days instead of 14?

The only thing that helps my headaches is naproxin sodium. (aleve) Tylonal doesn't do a damned thing for me except make me sick. I hate this :(

I really hope I'm not going to get that stupid stomach flu that my friend has, she lives across the street. Would it be dangerous if I got it? It seems to just be a 1 day thing.

How much weight loss is too much?

I know people lose weight during their first trimester, but i'm just wondering how much is too much.

Before i got pregnant i was a healthy 60kg. In the 7 weeks since i found out i was pregnant, i have lost 8kgs (17ish pounds). I only got my MS about 3 weeks ago and it's not too bad manly just nausea. I am drinking as mch water as i can and can only eat about half my usual meals but find myself eating constantly. My hubby, bestfriend and family are worried about the loss and although i thought it was normal, its starting to get me worried too as i'm looking skinny with my hips and bones sticking out (i'm one of those people who if they lose or gain weight its obvious). Doc appt is early next week. I'm not stressed about weight gain (i gained 18kg with my dd) but i'm sure as hell not trying to lose it! i like my curves lol

What do you guys think? Should i be getting worried?

I'm 9dpo and have had cramping for the past 2 days that felt like light AF cramps. Well today I had it too, but tonight I'm having it mixed with what feels like...gas pains, or constipation pains? The thing is, I can't tell if I'm cramping, if I'm constipated, or both. I pooped a LITTLE bit this morning and didn't yesterday , but didn't think anything of it. I feel like I need to go to the bathroom but when I go to try, nothing happens at all. I know this is TMI :/ sorry, just thought some of you might know :( I tested a bfn today but I'm having literally every symptom in the book. I have always thought if you had symptoms, you'd test positive.

Oh & forgot to mention, although they feel like AF cramps, I know it can't be because I chart, and have a 15 day luteal phase, which means AF isn't due for 6 days...I only cramp like 10 min before my period starts, or right after...never this early on! The only cramping I've ever had this early was light aches in my ovaries, and this is completely different.

Okay so I'm 15DPO today and I'm having really really watery CM, it was brown this morning and all day, then a couple hours ago it was pinkish/brownish. I've had cramps off and on for the past couple days but they have been so mile and not anything like AF but sort of similar.

My breasts also hurt super super bad! Stabbing pains off and on and hurt just to walk!

Have any of you ladies had this CM and been Pregnant?:shrug:

I just got asked if i was having cravings because i was eating at my desk. I replied, "cravings? Why do you ask" he said "oh just thought you might be mother to be" This same man (who normally I like) commented yesterday I shouldn't lose anymore weight to which I told him I have been sick lately and not trying to lose anything.

I'm a terrible liar and I work with 35 men and 4 women all of whom have no tact or manners. At only 8.5 weeks i'm not ready for work to know.

the dull, droning muscle ache extends from the middle of my spine up to my shoulders and neck. it is constant, and no changing of positions or stretching alleviates it.

I really just have to stop watching emotional drama shows on TV, I break down and cry over every moment on the tv show.

Today I pulled my baby photo album off the book shelf, because there is an ultrasound in there from me in my mom (I am having my first u/s on monday!!), and really wanted to see what I looked like in the belly.

When I opened the album and started looking through the pictures, I had to cry the entire time, no reason why! I have seen the pictures a thousand times, and never got emotional, now I was balling my eyes out over them!

I laugh at myself afterwards, but it's terrible when it happens in public!

Anyone else experiencing the same? Would love to hear y'all's stories :) :cry:

I had my 2nd ultrasound today. Was so nervous I cried to the tech about how I didn't know if my baby was alive...

Anywho, I saw the heartbeat and baby!!!! Best feeling ever to see that first scan with everything OK. I also got to hear the heart too!!! SO awesome.

Hey, I thought I had my period for the past week but it's been kind of different. The blood has been mostly a rust color and not bright red like usual. There also seems to be a lot of tiny pieces in it (sorry if TMI!) so now I'm wondering if it's possibly decidual bleeding?? My temps have been high for the past week and my CP appears to be high too. So has anyone had decidual bleeding? What was it like? I'm so confused so any info would be really helpful!! :confused:

I work as a nanny to a family with a six month old. A few times per week we go out into the world, which means I have to lug around the baby while he's inside the infant carrier (bucket seat style). I'd estimate that the combo probably weighs about 20'ish pounds. Do you all think that's safe?

Just wondering if they take a day off on your dating scan as its the leap year this year, as its technically an extra day to your 'due date'?!

I know its all estimated or there abouts, my first was born on his due date, BUT even if he wasn't, if you do go two weeks over due and need to be induced, that extra day makes a huge difference when your heavily pregnant and want to met your baby!!

I just joined B&B today. :) I had called a gyn and they said the earliest they would see me would be 8-10 weeks. ( I am about 2 weeks from conception time). I was arranging an appointment, but a few things the nurse (?) said on the phone made me question them so then I cancelled.
I then talked to a midwife service that has an office, and they said 12 weeks. But that I could make a consult appointment around 8 weeks (since I will be out of the country) if I wanted.
I'm confused because I just assumed that any doctor or midwife would want to see a newly pregnant woman right away? I guess I am wrong?
This is my first pregnancy, and right now I'm just trying to eat healthy and balanced, drink more water, and am taking a multivitamin that has the recommended folic acid intake.
Thank you for any input.

Just found myself on the phone accidentally booking an early scan for Saturday, when I'll be exactly 8 weeks. :blush:

I told myself to save the �75 and wait for my 12 week scan, mainly due to the fact having an early scan doesn't mean something won't go wrong later on.

But looks like I am not as patient as I thought!!!

I am so scared and nervous. I think I'll be in tears all morning Saturday until I hear everything's OK!!

Has anyone who has had a scan at 8 weeks tell me what to expect?

I am such a nervous wreck lately! Don't know what's came over me since I found out I was pregnant! :dohh:

Okay, so I just came home on cloud 9....my ultrasound went well and the baby is healthy and growing.

My DH lives in Germany, we are waiting for his interview for citizenship in the states, and I e-mailed him the pic of the baby immediately.

He called me a few hours ago after getting the pic and we spoke and I was so excited and he was too, he even cried. Then I come home and he calls me in a rage because of what his mother said...

He showed her the pic and she told him "yeah the baby is still small enough for her to have an abortion.". WTFFFFFFFFFFF! :growlmad:

She didn't stop there. She told my DH she was disowning the baby, that it's a waste of time and will ruin his life, and that she wants nothing to do with it. She doesn't want to fly here for the birth, see pictures, or be updated.

I am FURIOUS!!!!

How dare she!

Well my scan was better than I ever imagined.. those who are worrying and dreading it, DONT!! It was brilliant. I gawped at the screen the whole time I must have looked sooo daft! Anyhow here's the pics... what do you reckon?? Im thinking maybe I can see a the nub on the pic with the foot up? Do you also think its the top 'lump'?? Hmm help me out here where is my baby's nub hehe...?

Gained 7lbs and not even 6 weeks yet!

I need some insight to this- be blunt with me okay?!?!?! :haha: SOOO I am not the skinniest person, definitely over weight- but not extremely. The month before I got my BFP I had lost 12lbs on a diet. Then I got my BFP I had to stop being so strict ( I was only eating 500-800 cal/day ) - now I am 5 weeks almost 6 and got on the scale this morning and BAM I have gained 7lbs!!! I do feel bloated because of the pregnancy but I was shocked to see that number go up 7lbs! So we all know that when you stop diets you gain some weight back, but I have still been eating pretty decently. I'm sooo scared I am going to gain to much weight and have it be unhealthy :-(

The doc said the baby is measuring perfect and the HB is a strong 160.

So glad the baby is okay.

10 week 3 days scan pics

Had my last private scan before my nt yesterday boo hoo, cheered me up from my hyperemesis though! Baby was lazy laying on its back chilling, did a little dance after a little persuasion then settled down again. It was so brill, seeing heart, she even showed us where the bubs brain is etc. I'm measuring exact to my last dating scan so am due on 2nd September which is the day after my daughter turns 9 :)

I'm scared still but getting more excited. My husbands nan died and we found out Sunday so that has been sad for my hubby think seeing bub helps!

I have got tablets now for hypermesis hit and miss but see how it goes, i had +3 keytones. I had it with my daughter ironically i did a post here about symptoms fading near 8 weeks n bam it hits me! With sickness and lower back pain(past work injury) seeing baby cheered me up no end :D

ok im 7 weeks 4 days and this is my second pregnancy. i was laying on the couch and i sneezed, then i had this feeling of popcorn popping very low in my abdomen right by my pubic region it lasted a couple seconds then stopped, if it were gas youd think id still feel it could my sneeze make baby bounce around in there or am i crazy lol.

So my first appointment was scheduled for march 13 and i was called today and told that my insure was set to start for feb. 1 and i was able to call and get an earlier appointment so i now am going on feb. 21 at 11 i am so glad i was able to get everything lined up so fast for me and for the health of my baby and i also get to find out exactly how far along i am which is the one thing that has been bothering me the most (i dont know how far i am and i dont know my exact due date):dohh::happydance::dohh::happydance:

Hi guys, just found out I am pregnant yesterday. First month of trying, used internet cheapie ovulation tests and dtd on the appropriate days. Here we are 2 weeks later and I am pregnant already. Very surprised and excited. Currently working in the civil service so good prospects maternity leave wise. :cloud9: I had a mc at 7+2 last year so I am a bit scared but am going to try to take each day as it comes !!!

I dislike it soooo much, cos I know that water is needed 100% during pregnancy.

Hope everyone is well!
Just wondered who else is the same I'm 10 weeks and too scared to exercise I've had 2 losses before this and I'm starting to think if I should be exercising if its doing more harm not doing any. I ran alot before with the last 2 pregnancies and gave it up I haven't done much exercise in the last year occasional walks but no set routine. Am I the only one? Is anyone else a bit scared? I feel like I should be exercising but would feel better after I've had my dating scan!

hello ladies some advice please ive had problems from the start i had a internal scan last week a fetal pole and hb was detected i bleed some after the scan but it stopped no cramping etc until yesterday and today so curiosty got me and i took a hpt today it was a faint positive took another it was the same both were faint, now i have a dreaded feeling in my tummy does it mean alls not right? i meet a midwife tomorrow for booking in. i will raise with her but arent faint positives at nearly 8 weeks not a good sign?

Ok Girls, throw me bone here :wacko: I have a silly question, I am 8 dpo today and something strange has happened. I am DRY, I have absolutely NO cm. So much so that sex is painful. This has NEVER happened to me in a 2ww before, I usually have a ton of creamy CM all throughout my wait. So my question, is this huge difference something that can give me hope? Did any of you get very dry cm before your :bfp:? Thanks for looking!!!!!!!

I've recently become really itchy! My boobs and legs and belly particularly. I can't wait to take my clothes off and put my pajamas on when I get in at night. Tights particularly seem to bring the itch on!

Is anyone else feeling like this? Is it just hormones or should I maybe try a different washing powder? I must look like I've got ants in my pants!

So my little girl (10 months) has the RSV virus and has given it to me :(. I feel like a truck has hit me lol. Its so hard being pregnant and sick and taking care of a 10 month old. Also my husband is going to be gone for the weekend. First time we have been apart since he came home from afghanistan in October:cry:.

I've always had problems with constipation and now that I'm pregnant it's only worse! My OB prescribed Metamucil to me and I've read that one of its side effects is cramps and I've been getting them. Every time I'm trying to have a bowel movement and I (push) some mucus discharge (mostly brown or pink) comes from the front.

Is that normal at all? Am I pushing the baby out doing this?

I don't know how my OH is putting up with me, I'm sitting in a flood of tears right now because I know I'm in the wrong. I yelled at him because he didn't invite me out on his birthday

His justification was that he didn't want to drag me all the way to town when I couldn't drink anyway, and that he wouldn't be long and when he comes back we'll cuddle up on the sofa and watch a film and drink tea.

Normally, that's a good reason, and I bet you lot will agree..but not for me..I went crazy, throwing things at him, yelling, swearing, slamming doors. He looked so upset. It's his birthday and I'm being a complete bitch because he doesn't want to drag his pregnant girlfriend to the pub.

I can't deal with these hormones!!!

HELP ME. PLEASE HELP ME.

I feel so rubbish, so down, so weird.. I'm ruining relationships with those around me because of my uncontrollable mood swings!!! :( I'm not even sick constantly etc, it's literally just my moods - I cry at everything and the littlest thing appears to turn me into a 2 year old that has a tantrum!! I can't deal with this for much longer :cry:

So fed up, don't know what to do to make it all better. Somebody please tell me that it goes away pretty soon? x

When we first found out I was pregnant, I really thought we were having a girl, as did OH and everyone else we spoke to! But the last few days I have a feeling we might be having a boy. So now I'm dead confused!

going mad- i CANNOT wait til my first appt & ultrasound I JUST WANNA KNOW ALL IS WELL! I have til valentines day.. last night i SWEAR i heard the HB on dopplar (i know you look at how far along i am and you think no way)... but my LMP is actually Dec 5th So i could be up to 9 weeks right now. Now i can't hear it today.

Waiting through til you can feel your baby moving is just awful on your nerves.

So I had blood drawn yesterday and I'm at almost 7 weeks and my HCG was only in the 3k's so I did some searching around and found this great website that answered a lot of my questions. You can look at women around your age and it gives you the high and low HCG levels. Check it out:

Hey ladies, I just found out I'm pregnant on tuesday. I'm so stinking excited I can hardly contain myself. My husband left a week and a half ago for afganhistan and will be gone until september. Im doing pretty well but its been hard not having anyone to talk to. Im about to make a long drive back to my hometown and want to tell my family in person. So the only person I have told is my hubby and the the ladies on here. Is anyone else a military wife and/or has a husband deployed? Im wondering how its going to be and im a little scared to be by myself. this is our first.

Hi girls OMG I am soo sick :wacko: My all day sickness has stepped up a notch over this last week and all of a sudden I have my prego boobs (still feeding my daughter) up until last week they didnt hurt at all now they feel sooooo sore just like they did when I was preggie with her, I hae been vomiting non stop (have been since week 4) it let up in week 9 and just sooo bad at the moment - I throw up all the time and my food aersions are manic! When should this subside? Just about to throw up now again!!!!

What would you expect to see at 5 weeks on a scan? I had one today and only thing seen was the lining of the uterus had thickened:s
Nothing was seen in the ovaries so they have taken blood to do a beta hcg!

Has anyone else gone through this and gone on to have a normal pregnancy ?

7 weeks, 6 days and I have lost 8 lbs!!

I have not had any appetite since I got pregnant. My nausea is only really bad every few days, but I do feel slightly nauseated all the time. I have only puked a few times, but the rest of the time I cannot make myself be hungry! I was overweight to begin with, but I am getting concerned because I am loosing weight and I cannot see how that is ok for my baby. I want to begin to show, not get skinnier!! I have been bloated, and I am still bloated, so I cant really button my pants, but that is not baby, its bloat.
Has anyone else experienced significant wieght loss in the first tri?

Wondering how big my boobies are goingto get!! lol

I already have a fairly big chest (32G uk) so i am worried abut how much bigger they will get.

At the moment they are not too sore, just when i press certain areas they are tender and i notice first thing in the morning they ache a little...

Bras aint cheap as it is! mine roughly cost me around �30! so i'm hoping i dont have to buy too many new ones!! lol

Well I go in for my first appointment today. I'm high risk because i'm considered obese. I wasn't planning this pregnancy. I'd actually lost about 20lbs before I found out I was pg. And due to being sick and no appetite i've actually lost a few more since. I'm 6wk5days today and I'm really worried about what my doctor is going to say. I'm really excited about this pregnancy but i'm also really worried about it as well. I just pray my weight doesn't hurt my baby. I've worked really hard at eating healthier and exercising and I plan to continue that throughout the pregnancy.

Any other overweight/obese and pregnant women out there that might can give me some support or help ease some worry I have?

Due in October with #1. Anyone else?

:cry: I really thought this would make my oh grow up. but clearly it hasnt all he cares about is himself and all he will do is what he wants todo. hes wasting his money on stupid stuff and hasnt even started to save ( hasnt got a job ) i havent stayed in my own house with him for the last 3 weeks because it stresses me out so much im so much happier staying with my mum! right from the start when i was in hospital he wouldnt wait for me as he was to busy meeting his friends, he wouldnt wait in the doctors for folic acid with me coz there were too many ppl there! he would moan about picking up a pregnancy test for me as they were so expensive?! he hasnt paid for 1!! if i try and explain how i feel or how hes peeing me off to him i get told TO SHUT UP YOUR JUST TRYING TO CAUSE A ROW! im so disapointed and unhappy and i really dont know what to do! i mean we cant stay together for under 2 hours without bickering and its all my fault! im sick of being told when i can speak what i can speak about and what and what i can not do!! im not im all moody as im preg but this is just really getting to me now....:(

I didn't realise it would start so soon, and to make it even worse I actually have a phobia of sick lol!
I've had to ring in sick to work today and felt so bad about it, but its unbearable at work and the toilet is so far away from my desk :O

I actually haven't brought anything up yet but I've been retching and heaving loads last night and today so good job I didn't go in. I just contantly feel sick. I am trying ginger biscuits (there not working) wrist bands (there not working) fizzy pop (not working)! I am struggling to even drink water everything is just making me feel sick.

Is anyone else as bad as this? How on earth am I suppose to cope?
I even rang the docs this morning and they prescribed anti nausea tablets and then said we don't really advise you to take them unless necessary. So now I don't want them and I am back at square one.

Anyone found a remedy? Im desperate...

I had my first ultrasound yesterday at 7w3d! We saw the little baby and we saw the heart beat as well. The heart beat is around 140 bpm. Is that good?? I have heard that a baby's heart rate is usually pretty high (like in the 170's). What was your baby's heart rate??

I was just washing my hands after going to the loo and leaned into the sink. OH my gosh, it killed my belly! My belly felt really hard and I've never had this before! I am 11+2. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this?

Hi all,
I got this scan yesterday as i had spotting but the hb was there and strong and babs was fine, i know it's a bit grainy but if anyone would like to have a guess i would love to hear!

I'm not too up on the nub theory but i'm presuming that's the nub i'm looking at!? it could be the placenta for all i know but looks like where the nub would be!

loves that i can feel my bubs already i cant hear bubs on doppler well tbh i havent tried for a week or so lol but its bcoz i hav a tilted uterus i cuddent find hb but apparently having a tilted uterus makes it easier 2 feel baby

Nearly died of shock right there on the bed when she told me, i finally managed to brave it though and tell the parents who took it very well but they were extremely shocked and worried for me!

I just cant believe it really, more so because my best friend had twins less than a year ago!

I'm really starting to suffer with the nausea now. Still haven't been sick (although there have been a few close calls this morning!) but I just feel bleaugh! I'm really suffering with the smell of food in the mornings. Not just one particular but everything! And finding it really hard to eat breakfast. Basically up until lunch, I'm having to force myself to eat because I'm hungry!

I knew it would come eventually! Just hope I don't spew at work...the toilet is within our office so everyone will know!!

Basically I was around my fianc�s parents house last night and we were talking about names. At no point did I ask what my FIL�s opinion was he just asked what the names were. So I started telling him the names which was Rio & Alanzo for a boy, and Esmeralda for a Girl. I am half Spanish and my mother who is Spanish wanted to call me and my sister�s all exotic names.. but my father refused and insisted we have the english names which I hated! My name is Kellie & I would of much rather been called the name my mother chose for me (Sophia).

Anyway FIL was telling me that I was stupid for picking foreign names and that really I should have names like �Thomas� or �jack� .. I said my kid will be 1 quarter Spanish so therefore if I want to call it a Spanish name I can, and he was like �1 quarter?? That doesn�t mean anything�. It really annoyed me! Infact it annoyed me even more because my SIL had a daughter and ages ago me and SIL were talking about kids and she asked me what I was going to call my girl if I have a girl when I am older, I told her Amelia or Sophia, she told me she liked rosemary or Elizabeth. Then she got pregnant and it was a girl! I asked her if she had chosen between Rosemary or Elizabeth for a girl and she said she wasn�t having those names anymore she wanted either Amelia or Sophia!! LOL I wanted to rip her head off at that point, and told her well that�s unfair she knew those were the names I chose! In the end when the baby was born she chose Amelie, which is French! So my point being is his daughter who is 100% English called her daughter a French name and that�s fine but I call my kid Spanish names and that�s wrong even though I am half Spanish!! What a douche!! He shouldn�t even be telling me what names I should be choosing its my and fiance�s baby and actually me and my fianc� chose those names!

With DS we didnt but all the way through my pregnancy DH had a strong boy gender preference and then during labour it was all I could think about. This time I am thinking I will find out and then I can be a little more organised and relax about it. I probably will not tell anyone that we have found out before as last time I had people saying things like 'There arent many nice suprises in life' etc

This past week i have been having such trouble taking my pre natal vitamins, even to the point where im swallowing them and i vomit it straight back up. Up until this point i have been able to take them at night but still struggle to sleep after taking them, I am now 12 weeks should i feel really bad? With my son i didnt find out i was pregnant until 15 weeks and i had the worst diet and he is just fine

Oh wow.....I am so scared!

I have my private scan on Tuesday 14th Feb and have just received my letter for my 12 week scan on Thursday 8th March. I have all of a sudden become petrified :(

All the 'what ifs' are coming into my head now. I have not had any problems, no bleeding or major cramping and my symptoms seem to be coming and going but I am just terrified that something is wrong. I was hysterical last night :cry: to the point where I said I didn't want to go next week just in case there is a problem.

I know I was scared with my first but not this bad.

Still not had my midwife booking in appointment yet either, went to docs on monday to ask about it and they said she won't call me until 12 weeks but then on my scan letter it said i should of had it by now as they need all of my information ready for the scan.

Basically I am feeling crap!
