So I have researched for about a year on what is one of the reasons that causes infertility. It is the chemicals in our daily cleaning products, our shampoos, our toothpaste, our lotions, and just generally our everyday stuff. I am now a rep for a company called melaleuca. You can research it. All of our products is natural and they are all extrememly awesome!! If you want a little more information just ask :)

I have 3 children (plus many m/c). TTC 3+yrs. i scheduled the appointment for an RE. My question is will they do a complete workup as if weve never had children or will they take into account that at least at one time there werent issues? For example I had a chemical preg this week, so will they do an HSG? My tubes arent blocked (or at least 1 isnt) since i got preg.

Im expecting more bloodwork, at least a semen analysis (well maybe, i dont know?), U/S..... not sure what else?

Hi I'm new here and would like to share my story in hopes of finding some TTC buddies =) Secondary Infertility has been one of life's biggest struggles for me. I was blessed with a son nearly six years ago now (He'll be 6 in Feb) and he is absolutely the light of my life =) Being a mother is the best thing in the world so naturally I want more babies to love and would love to give him the sibling he longs for! My son is from a previous relationship but even he'll tell you he has the best Daddy in the world =) My Husband came into the picture when Cam was 15 months old and has been there ever since. We were married Nov 07 and started trying for a baby in late 2008. My Husband is in the Army so got to try for about 14 months before he deployed to Afghanistan in March 2010 he came home Feb 2011 and aftera few more unsuccessful months we finally saw an RE in the Summer of 2011

Hi, I am new here and looking for some answers and support.

I am 29 (husband is 33) and have 3 children which were conceived very easily. Now I have been trying for the last 12 months without success. I have been using OPK's so I know when I ovulate.

I saw a doctor a few weeks ago and he doesn't think there are any hormonal problems so he didn't order any blood work. He did give me lab orders for an HSG (to schedule once I start my period) and an order for a sperm analysis.

My question is what are the chances of me or my husband spontaneously having problems that can be detected my these tests? Like I said I conceived my other children very quickly. What things could cause secondary infertility in a healthy young mom/dad with no history of reproductive issues?

Any advice would be very appreciated. Nobody I talk to takes me seriously because I already have 3 kids. They don't think I could be having problems.

Thanks!!!

Hi ladies,
I'm kind of new here, I've been a bit of a lurker, but I've come to say hi.

A bit of back ground on me... Me and hubby have 4 children 3 girls and a boy in that order, ages 14, 9, nearly 8 and 5... Never had trouble conceiving in the past, infact I even got pregnant whilst breastfeeding, hence the 15 month gap between DD2 & 3, then our little man came along first month off the pill. We've been trying (sometimes really trying, sometime NTNP) for #5 since August 2008 with no luck. We've had all the tests and everything came back ok.. I've been having some cycle troubles, just very erratic and extremely heavy periods which I am currently under Gynea care for. I've got an appointment through for a Pelvic US scan on Feb 7th, which just so happens to be the week my next AF is due, so I'm going to do all I can this month so perhaps all they find at the US is a newly implanted little beany... I can hope.
So, this month I've got a load of OV sticks and we'll be following the SMEP religiously!
I've got 6 weekly reflexology sessions booked, the first is tuesday which will be CD10 for me.
I'm also taking Evening Primrose Oil (until OV is detected), High potency B complex with 100mg B6 & Folic Acid in it, Iron (prescribed by GP as the heavy periods make me anemic), VitC & Zinc, Calcium & Magnesium & Red raspberry leaf.
DH is taking Horny goat weed, Zinc & Maca.

So this is my PMA month - staying chilled is not working! Perhaps doing all I can will, we shall see... I just wanna see that elusive :bfp:

Hello everyone, I am new to these types of threads but would love to meet some people/friends going through the same issues as myself...I'll give everyone info about what's been going on and my situation.

1998-At almost 19yrs old married and had my 1st son.

1999-Had my 2nd son.

2001-Had my 3rd son, then after his birth had tubal ligation. (Which obviously I regret now, but at the time i was 21 with 3 children)

2010- In June, I had a tubal reversal done, they were only able to repair the left tube. Been TTC ever since then.

2011- In November had HSG to determine if the left tube was patent and it was.

2012- Gynecologist suggested using clomid

Now- I am getting ready to start Clomid here in 2 days, I am anxious to start this and hopefully get pregnant. I am just wondering if anyone has any success stories after tubal reversal or results using Clomid with only one tube? I would love to go through this journey with new friends and anyone who can offer me any words of encouragement. Thanks so much in advance! As I stated earlier, I am new to any types of threads online, so pls work with me as I am new...lol

Hi all!

I am not really sure if I should be posting here yet, but I thought maybe some of the ladies on here could provide some advice!

I am 29, DH is 31 and we have been TTC #2 for a year now. We have an 8 year old son, but desperately want a sibling for him. I experienced an early loss last summer, where I found out that my progesterone was low (I have suspected this problem since we started TTC, but had never had it tested unitl then). I am now on 200mg of Prometrium once daily CD16-35 (which I never make it to 35!). At first I though Prometrium was helping my LP (it went from 10/11 days to 11/12 days but I continued to have problems with spotting). However, last cycle my LP dropped to 7 days! I am waiting out this cycle to see what happens (but so far I haven't O'd yet and I am beginning to wonder if I will). I am planning on making an appt with my OB/GYN if this cycle is a BFN, but I was just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with Progesterone problems and how their Dr. chose to treat them? I really feel like my progesterone levels are keeping me from conceiving/maintaining a pregnancy. Also what other tests would you recommend?

Thanks in advance for any advice you have!
