im happy cause last year i had no cycle for 4 months nothing was wrong all test was normal then bam i got a period out of no where got preggo but sadly lost that baby so im hopeing this temping opk test and checking cervical mucus all points to the signs that i am oing yay:happydance: and another good thing is that not all doctors know what they are talking about i was told there was no hope for me but ladies i am proof there is hope just keep trying dont give up i have had 7 losses with no reason why other then bad luck times with out periods for years and here i am getting my cycle every month since nov last year and my nov and this cycle i seem to catch my o on cycle day 18 or 19 i was sick in jan which might of had a big impact on my oing that cycle cause it can delay o and this time i am trying progesterone cream starting once i get my three days of higher temps so tomorrow and friday should confirm what i know and then i can start the cream and see where it goes from there thank you for listening to me ladies and baby dust to all never give up hope like i say something worth wanting is worth fighting for!!!! and here is my opk from monday the 6th cycle day 18

Im new to this forum. Ive been ttc 2 months, I have 2 sons 8&4 from previous relationship. And now me & my husband are ttc our 1st baby. We have been together almost 4 years & married 6 months. Would be perfect to finish to bring an addition to our perfect family, the boys would be thrilled.
So already I am going out my mind. Worrying it will never happen. I had mirena removed in dec11.
Anyway had first perfect 28 cycle last month. On CD 15, is this positive opk?? I'm thinking so. They were fainter yesterday & this morning. Me & husband been bd every cd 6/7/8/9 11/12/13/14 should we leave tonight maybe??
We are very active and always have been every day. I'm worried if I don't do it now we will miss the boat, but also want best quality baby gravy :-)

Wed, 08 Feb 2012 17:41:08 GMTI took 2 tests this morning. The top one is a Wanfu, and the bottome is a $tree OPK. The bottom is clearly a bfp, but I'm new with Wanfu. I don't like them because they don't have a pink line, they have an ugly purplish line similar to evaps. I'm not sure what to believe though. 1 looks neg, the other pos. Which to believe?
Oh, and for the record, I'm not sure where I am in my cycle as I had an early MC last month, and technically, I should be getting AF on friday, but by the looks of it, I'm just O'ing. I took a $tree HPT this morning, and I think it's a bfn though. Although there is a second line, it looks to be an evap though.

I'm terrible with keeping track of my cycle so just want one positive so that I know when to expect to ovulate each month. Would you mind looking at the image and letting me know if you think any of these 3 tests look positive? I did them on 3 consectutive days and think I may have been a little late testing? the seemed to gradually fade each time.

I'm new here but had some confusion this month with my OPK. I've been using CBED OPKS for two months now and last month I had a positive LH surge for 2 almost 3 days in a row. This month I got a smiley face on 2/3/12 with FMU did another one later that day and it was negative. Did another one the next morning 2/4/12 with FMU another negative. At 10pm on 2/4/12 got a smiley face and did a few more until I ran out yesterday and they were all negative. So strange because last month I had a surge for so long and had very clear EWCM this month nothing and weird OPK results. Of course last month no BDing because hubby was gone all month (military). This was our last month of TTC until possibly October (he is deploying:cry:). Now I've been checking CM since i'm out of OPKs and I seen to be having EWCM??? What the heck? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
BTW= Been TTC for a year no luck :( I have a spot on 28 day cycle.

OK. So I am on CD 16 of 29 I have been doing opk since cd 6 and i have been temping the entire cycle. Haven't had a rise in my temp and my opk still say negative. I have been having some tanish cm the past two days that would happen like once maybe twice during the day and that was it. Last night I had a good bit of clear/eggwhite cm also then today its gone and there isn't much cm there, but its clear. Yesterday I had some cramping and then last night well it was 6:30am i had this awful pain in my abdomen more on the left than right, but it was def in both! It was pretty bad that it woke me up out of my sleep then about 10 mins later it eased off and went away and today i have been so bloated and gassy that i look about 6 months pregnant! and I got the hiccups 4 times today already! Not sure what those are all about, but it just seems like everyday something else comes up and I still get a neg opk. I'm not even symptom spotting and I'm much more relaxed this cycle than i've been and this is happening and I don't know what to think... Any suggestions? All of them are welcomed and needed!!!!!
Oh and the past few days i've been sneezing a lot and had a stuffy nose. idk if its a cold coming on or what, but thought i'd add!

It says to try to BD 3-4 days before you are to ovulate and I was thinking of getting an ovulation kit (with a circle and smiley face - i think its digital) to find out when i ovulate but the thing is i need to know 3-4 days BEFORE i ovulate so we can stop BDing, so my question is , How is the ovulation kit going to help me pin point 3-4 days before I ovulate? It will show me the smiley face when im ovulating and i guess will show the circle even if its a day before ovulation but how do i know i will ovulate in 3-4 days?. Sorry if i've confused you coz I'm confused myself. Hope someone here knows what I mean and can help me. Thanks a lot for reading and hope to hear some advice :)

I started having some cramping and ewcm around the 24th cd 11(I didn't have any ovulation tests and figured its way early for o) we bd on that day anyway and the day after. the next day we got in a fight and didnt bd until the 29th cd 16 (according to a standard ovulation calendar I should have o'd the 28th cd 15) so I finally received my opk's on the 31 cd 18 and this is what I got. I then got 2 days negative results. Now I'm getting 2 days of positive results again.I am so confused!! If anyone could possibly help. I feel ready to just give up. Ive tried to go to the doctor and they tell me be patient and keep trying.
I have sometimes have irregular cycles and sometimes they are regular. I could go months of it being on time same time or sometimes just a couple days off. Last year I got my period every month around same time up until Sept. 4th. I did not have another one until around Dec.7th. then again on Dec. 31st I started bleeding again for about 3 days lightly. I have not had a period since. I took CVS brand of HPT a couple of weeks ago before I started testing with the OPK and 3 of them got all positives(faint positives) I got so excited but took another brand FRER and got negative results. I read that blue dyed tests are known for false positives. I also read sometimes you can get positives on OPK if your already pregnant. So today I took another FRER and it was negative.
Anyone have any suggestions or maybe able to help??

FF changed my OV date to CD7 (Jan 14th) last month which would have been 3 days after AF ended (I didn't temp very much last month). This cycle FF still anticipates OV to be on the typical CD12 like it used to be. I am temping this month though, given my early AF. And I am using OPK's. I started using the opk's on CD4 (according to box in says go by shortest cycle and then start testing) since the last AF was almost 10 days early.
Well I have an almost positive opk that started at CD5, is it possible to ovulate on CD7 or CD8? I still had a little spotting earlier this morning, all gone now... I know LP doesn't change but OV date can. I am expecting Darker lines by tonight. That means my "fertile period" would be during "my period", and the 2 days before ovulation?!?!?!? (How sucky)
Please help...Do my opks look positive or almost positive. And am I right to anticipate a positive opk on CD7-9..my nerves are shot :huh::brat:

Even though I got my surge and my fertile signs and my temp spike, I decided to keep using OPKs just because I could. CD14 was super positive. CD15 was halfway between positive and not. CD16 was very negative. Today's OPK is almost positive again. I'm not having any fertile signs and I've already had a pretty convincing thermal shift, so I doubt I'm ovulating again. Any ideas??? Sat, 28 Jan 2012 14:02:13 GMTOkay so I'm on my first cycle testing with OPKs in preparation for TTC. AF arrived on the 10th and finished on the 14th. I got what I believe to be a surge on an OPK on the 19th. I'm not charting my temps but my cervix was soft and open and I had ewcm so I'm pretty certain I O'd then. Unforunately I didn't think to take a photo diary of all my tests so I can't compare todays to it.
The past few days I've been using HPTs (early, I know) as we DTD around the 21st. I'd had copious cm which is heading towards ewcm and decided to do an OPK just to see and it would appear that I'm surging again. Cervix is indeed soft and open as if I've O'd.
So, firstly is it possible to O twice in one cycle and also does this test seem positive to you as i puts a different spin on things if I haven't been getting pos OPKs when I thought I was.
Taken 20 minutes after using with slightly diluted pee.

I've tried to contact the company for an opinion, but all their operators are busy last night and this morning, and they probably can't give one anyway - it says to ask your doctor about your fertility status.
If it's positive, I call the clinic today, but they won't book me until Sunday because of their weekend booking policy. I don't know if that's too late for IUI or not - I know that same day might be too soon.

On the 24th I had a positive opk at 3pm, retested at 9pm still positive.. On the 25th I tested twice and they were both totally negative.. On the 26th I tested about 4pm and it was positive.. I tested today(27th) negative again... We dtd on 21st, 23rd, 24th, 25th and today (27th)... When do you think I ovulated, do you think Weve covered our bases??

I've never really gotten my period exactly same day every month. Its always a week or so off from the last sometimes a month sometimes 3 months. So its hard sometimes to say when I will ovulate. I finally got the 20 day Blue clear OPK and took my first test Monday afternoon. To my surprise I got a smiley face!! I was so excited. 4 hours later I couldnt help but test again and got a negative. I heard I may have tested to soon. The next morning I got another positive then in the afternoon both positive. That night I got a negative result. Again maybe i tested too soon? Wed. morning afternoon and night there was the smiley face again. Today of course I had to test and again morning afternoon and night all positive. So what is going on????

Thu, 26 Jan 2012 19:07:50 GMTFor me at least, an almost (or barely) positive Wondfo opk isn't an actual positive. I'm attaching a pic of my "almost positive"s and my actual positive. :)
The first one was from a week ago and I wasn't getting consistent positives with it. The second was was from yesterday (getting ready to surge), and then today (surge).
The Wondfos have the light blue handle and the others are from the Dollar Tree.

Well I had expected my opks to be really dark (I had one super-dark one and 3 days of positives last month when I O'd for the first time in years) but they were just a "normal positive" and I wasn't convinced. It took a couple days for the lines to get fairly faint but my cm was still watery/slippery even through today. I actually had a patch of EWCM 2 days ago and then yesterday my cm starting having a bit of white color to it. Today I woke up with a ton of watery/slippery cm but it had a little more of the white color and I was thinking that I was finally getting post-O cm. I checked it when I did the 2:38 opk and there wasn't much at all and seemed creamier. (keep reading)
SHORT VERSION: I thought maybe I ovulated and my cm is finally turning a little less fertile (6 dpo??) but I got positive opks. Now my urine was super-concentrated since I hadn't really had anything to drink (just water to take meds with) since around 4 a.m., but I had peed at 7 and noon before this. CAN YOUR PEE BE TOO CONCENTRATED AND GIVE FALSELY DARK OPKS??? I'll test again later and maybe get some dollar tree opks but this is enough to drive me crazy(er).

I just ordered the 1 month supply of Clear Blueasy's ovulation tests (20 ct.) - it says to use when you get your period - I havent had one yet, but belieive I ovulated on the 16/17th of January. I had 1 brown discharge "period" for about 4 days in December on 12/5, so I am using that as a base, as 1/16 - 1/17 I totally feel I was ovulating. We are going for baby #2, and do not want to waste money on the test kit by using it at the wrong time - if the period does not come my 2/5, would it be reasonable to assume I can start using this kit then if I am not pregnant?
Any advice on ovulation kits after mirena would be great :)

My cycles are usually long - 39, 42 & 41 have been the last 3 lengths (in order). I started using soy last cycle but nothing happened, tried again this cycle and got that OPK this evening :yipee: I never usually get a +ve until CD27 the earliest, so I'm pretty chuffed! The soy has obviously worked and is shortening my cycles!
Just not wanting to get my hopes too high. If this was your OPK what would you think?

Around 12 dpo I posted a picture of a test that I swear I saw a line in and also the same picture just a little darker and a lot of people said they could see the line some said they couldn't... either way i took another test the next day and it wasn't a darker line and I didn't stress myself trying to make myself see one. Then on the 19th AF showed and lasted 3 days then on day 4 I had some spotting that morning, but I wouldn't even consider it spotting. I didn't even need a liner. Well last night DH and I :sex: (nothing hard, rough or any sort) and when we got done I was bleeding like I just started AF.. *****WARNING TMI TO THE EXTREME******** when I got up I knew I had to go straight to the bathroom cause I felt like I was dripping and I even laid in bed for like 15 mins when I did and turned on the light that is when i saw the blood and started wiping and it just wouldnt stop coming so I put in a tampon.. poor DH got us and also went to the bathroom and he had blood all on him as well (said he saw like a blood clot) needless to say we took showers again.. Anyway so I got up this morning and removed my tampon and there was nothing on it. All throughout today when I go to the bathroom I would check and it would be just a light light light beige color when I wipe. So i didn't think much about it just that it must be just because we :sex: right after I was done or thought i was done with AF. Well today is CD 6 so I thought I would go ahead and start my opk since I'm way excited for this cycle hoping to see a :bfp: well a picture of the opk is below and I am now sooo confused. Is this a positive opk at CD6 already? Did I maybe ovulate yesterday or while I was on my period? Does this mean I will probably ovulated earlier than normally? OR what is going on? The other cycles my opk didn't get this dark until I ovulated the other test were white as could be... so I do not know what to think. Can someone please tell me what is going on? Sorry this is so long!

Tue, 24 Jan 2012 12:18:42 GMTso i finally managed to get my hubby who was fell ill with a 24 hour cold bug on friday and saturday then managed to DTD with me on late sunday. i...so i finally managed to get my hubby who was fell ill with a 24 hour cold bug on friday and saturday then managed to DTD with me on late sunday. i was also feeling lots of twinges on saturday and sunday so decided to do a OPK sunday. which i now know was BEGiNNING to become positive as the line was darker then when it is negative. well...turns out hubby had to leave monday evening for a few days until thrusday this week, so i managed to get him to contribute on monday into a condom which he foolishly placed in a drawer rather than in awarm place for about half an hour, i TBH myself with it on monday but whther anything viable was in that remains to be seen.
i was on 100mg clomid days 3-8 and i have PCOS. i had a a scan done on me yesterday monday evening (before i TBM'd) and turns out i have 2 mature follicles. one was 15 and the other 12mm. was told by doc i should O today sometime and if i don't fertilize then the 12 follicle may ovulate by friday and sat. :wacko:
i also did a OPK today and although twinging has ceased i am really tender and have AF type dull aches it still came out completely POSITIVE. so like the doc said i will O today sometime or maybe even tomorrow.
now i won't be able to DTD until thrusday providing my hubby an contribute (trying to DTD for making babies kind of takes the fun out of it and he feels a bit more under pressure so i avoid making that an issue duing our sessions lololololol)
i am baffled now...i finding it hard to fall pregnant now i conceived my other children a bit more easier but lat month we BD rgiht before through and after O and i didnt fall PG. this time i am more or less missing my O have done before and may do after. so what are my chances? will my Dh contribution of sunday night and my TBM on monday help at all. and if the 15mm follicle comes out is not fertilized can i O again on sat with the 12mm follicle? i though O only takes place once...can the 12mm catch up and O with he 15mm?
what do you thin my chances are. i am hoping to BD this thursday if not friday for good measure..but i am feeling a bit gutted....

Came off BC in Oct and not even a second line on a o test from then and I have been testing most days. My periods went straight back to first cycle 31 days then back to 28 day cycles.
We bd Friday, saturday and sunday (usual weekend, LOL), should I keep testing until lines not showing on test and bd every day? Sorry this is prob a silly question but just so excited about + result feeling good about getting a BFP next!
By the way I took soy vits (brought in tesco) first 5 days of this cycle and it might of helped?? xx

I'm going through IUI and the only way they have me detect my surge is by OPK's. I feel O coming and so I have been testing like crazy because I don't want to miss it again like I have in the past. Can you wonderful ladies tell me what you think about the tests? I swear this is positive but digital says no. I only have one digital left (tons of IC's though) and I'm wondering what I should do.

Sun, 22 Jan 2012 07:51:13 GMTI didn't think I'd be so HAPPY to see two lil lines on a small test strip, but I guess I needed the positive result more than I knew.
I have PCOS and my cycles have been all over the place. I took Provera in December and I think it's worked in "resetting" my cycle; this positive result is right on time with how long my cycles should be and is in cue with my body's symptoms.
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
We aren't TTC, but it's good to know things seem to (FINALLY!) be working like they should. :) :) :)

Fri, 20 Jan 2012 20:27:09 GMTSo I was hoping for really blaring positives but I haven't gotten any. However, I had 2-3 days of alllllllmost positives. Now I think they're back to pretty negative. I haven't had any really "good" pee since yesterday evening, but I think they're lighter. I'm thinking I O'd yesterday (if it's happened). I didn't have any ewcm but my cm was infertile after AF then turned watery on CD11, was very watery/slippery even through this morning (CD19). So far this afternoon there is less of it, but I'll check again later. I also had loose bowels yesterday morning 4 times in maybe 2 hours and then it was gone. So I'm wondering if I O'd yesterday. What do you ladies think??
Here are some pics of my tests from the past couple days. The first and last ones (yellow) are from 1-18 (CD17). The first one was 2:10 pm then the other was 3:50 pm... then the other 3 are from yesterday. It just seemed like I got a mix of dark lines with negatives. My line went back to negative then last night, but I could only upload 5 pics. Of course I ran out of Dollar Tree tests and didn't get to use any from 3:50 pm on CD17 til 8:45 pm on CD18 (yesterday)... but I will say that my lines pretty much matched each other (Wondfo vs Dollar Tree) last night when they were negative. I just don't know what to think.

I had a early m/c not long ago and wasnt going to test with OPK or even bd when I was "O" but alot of ladies have said it may be easier to get a BFP after a m/c so I am going to try,I "thought" last nights looked positive but this one is as dark to me so I ask you all to please say alittle prayer for me and if anyone wants to post their OPK here or talk or both feel free to do so and I will also pray for you and keep my FX :hugs:

I thought I had ovulated a few days ago, due to what I thought was ewcm and cramps, then yesterday I had a bit of what was definately ewcm and quite a bit. Then when I got home it was barely there. Did an OPK yesterday which was negative (though had very weak pee). I have just done one again, and this is what I got...I'm 99.99% sure it's positive.

I think the top three in the pic are positive, meaning that I would ov 24 - 48 hours after the surge. Is that correct?
The tests are two per day so left to right, Day 13 am, Day 13 pm, Day 14 am..... etc
So today I am day 16, so would assume I ov'ed during the last few days? Is it time to give poor OH a break from BDing? lol

Shouldn't I have at least a faint line no matter what time the month is? The 3rd was my day 1 so I don't know if I missed it or what but I am so worried that there could be something different wrong if I don't even have a faint line. I have the control line. Please help!

Wed, 18 Jan 2012 19:51:21 GMTHoping I get a blaring positive tonight or tomorrow. We've BD CD10, 12, and 14. Yesterday was CD16 and neither of us really felt like it so we skipped it and planned on dtd tonight. Of course today I get an almost positive (but don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see it!). I'm going to go out later and get a couple Dollar Trees to see what they show too. I'm definitely going to BD tonight and hopefully tomorrow too... and maybe the next day if we feel up to it.
Last month my positive opks were completely unexpected (I believe it was the first time I'd O'd in 6 years!) and around the holidays so we didn't get the BD in those few days like I wanted (only once right after the positive). I want to give it a really good chance this time and I'm bummed we didn't BD last night but hopefully we can make up for it and catch the eggy!
I'll update if/when I get my positives. I know I checked this testing section many many many times in the 16 months I've been using opks. I'm hoping mine will help someone else. :)

I must say I LOVE opk!:happydance: Symptoms for Ov are typical. Very high soft cx. I can't even reach it. I tested on cd9-11 at 12-1 pm. cd 12 - Started testing at 12, then 3pm, then 8pm. cd 13- 9 am, 12 noon.
The other pictures was taken as the test hadn't even gotten wet across the entire test area yet. I just wanted to show how quickly the positive started forming. All those other days it took forever to get 2 color lines. This second image is the very last stick on the first picture like I said before the test area even got wet across it.
