I POAS with FMU and got a very faint shadow of a line. As I'm good at getting evaps I gathered that was what it was.

SO as I usually do, I POAS on an ic with SMU and walked off to organise presents. When I came back it looked like a bfn but on closer inspection I thought I could see something. So I did another one and then did a FRER and an OPK and this is what I got.







What do you think? the camera really isnt good at picking up the lines but hoping you can see it.

Do all tests develop evaporation lines?
I had a test yesterday (10dpo) and it had a very faint line which I don't want to get excited about before time, today i repeated with the same brand and came identical, plus i did 2 more from a different brand but came :bfn:. however before throwing them away (30 mins after testing) I saw that ALL FOUR of them had a positive line and it was pink and thick, are those evaporation lines?

so anyways took pics as you do lol tell me what you think. i'm sorry for the crappiness of the photos but it was dark outside when i did it and so didnt have natural light and camera is rubbish at picking up lines with artifical light!

2 out of 3 came up with a line one was pretty seeable the other one you really had to squint to see it. i tried to get a pic for everyone to see but you can barely see the line thanks to my crap picture taking skills lol.

i'm now 5dpo or could be 8dpo not really sure though more likely 5dpo.

so has anyone else tried this and what did it come up with? x

Does anyone have any experience of frer tests NOT getting darker day by day when you are testing early?

I tested 9dpo, 10dpo and 11dpo and got a very faint (but definite) bfp on all of them. But they are not getting darker, in fact the last was probably a bit lighter.

To make it worse this is an ivf cycle so I had a hcg trigger shot 11 days before the 9dpo test, 12 days before the 10dpo test and 13 days before the 11dpo test. Very stupidly I did not test the trigger shot out fo my system - big mistake!

So now I am guessing the trigger is either leaving my body really late so they are false bfps, or the pg is not viable since hcg levels must be increasing very slowly or not at all?

Any thoughts?

Anyone had this experience with frer not getting darker?

Heres the odd thing though, 4 days before my AF was due I bled. ALOT. Went to EPU and they said they thought id passed an embryo but still awaiting results. They told me to test to see if lines faded but they havent!!

My breasts are killing me, mild cramps and fatigue but thats it. The breast pain is very strong.

Neither test was done with FMU.

I am doing that tomorrow. What do you guys think? Help me so confused!

Short background: We're Infertile - MaleFactor issues -azoospermia but there is sperm in the testes that could in theory, potentially grace us with its presence by some miracle- we had one round of IVF with ICSI, had very good quality embryos (meaning when the manage to get the spermie in it does its job with my eggies) but had a very early miscarriage -I suspect I had too thin of endometrium but that's another story- and then had another chemical a month later naturally. -There is a thread on here by me asking if those were CB evaps-. --- Either that or I am getting false faint :bfp: s every month AF is late like Dan-o and avfga (sp?)

While we're waiting for IVF 2 we're trying on our own, supposingly casually LOL. This cycle if there was any sperm we must have caught the eggy right on its way down as I had serious O pains a couple of hours after BDing so, as a true POAS addict, I started testing a couple of days ago. This morning a CB had what I thought was an evap -as opposed to the thin or incomplete lines I usually get on CB this was an in depth full size but ultra faint line- and when I took the IC -which was just blank or having clear grey evaps yesterday and the day before- it had a fainter than life second line. Now I would think nothing of it but I have seen IC evaps, they look very clearly colourless and on the surface.

This one was not on the surface but deep within the test, you know what I mean? Hard to explain but it looked like it had slight colour and it was in depth is all I can say LOL. I started testing a few days ago, and thought that I could see a line on my dollar store tests, but DH couldn't see them (go figure!). So I finally took a FRER and voila a very faint, but very pink line!

This morning I tested with another dollar store test (don't have anymore FRERs) and the line is now visible without having to search for it lol

After last months early m/c I'm nervous that it will happen again, so please, if you could send some sticky vibes our way, I'd appreciate it!

Did a first response test this morning and got the most ridiculously faint second line. I mean I really had to look for it. If it's that faint would that make it an evap line? Because I thought evaps didn't start to appear for at least ten minutes, which was why you have to disregard a negative result after that time. My little line appeared after the three minutes I was supposed to wait. I've taken a pic, which was taken just a couple of minutes of getting my result. Sorry it's so huge, just wanted to make sure you could all see it! So what do you think ladies? Can you see it? Is it a :bfp:? Or am I getting foolishly hopeful over an evap line?

My hands were shaking so much when I saw it that I dropped the darn test and scratched the cartridge right through the line, so I know that I will prob have to POAS in a couple of days until it gets darker. I don't know if it is an evap or what, so I POAS with another test (unfortunately now that one had to be on second MU), and there is also a very very pink line - more like a shadow.

Is it possible to have two faint evaps, or....

Will try to post a pic of the other one too...

Ive posted yesterdays tests...I just have this sort of thing every month around 8dpo..grrr

Dou you think this is a chemical type of thing? Has anyone here been pregnant with a few bfps on internet strips and some negatives ?

I am new to ttc and I took a hpt this morning when I got up (had peed about three hours earlier though). It detects hcg 4 days before missed period and I am due mine on Wed/Thurs (today was Sunday).

I did the test and nothing showed up immediately but after about ten mins I was sure that I seen a line. I showed it to hubby when he got home and he could see it too, but i am thinking it might be an evap line.

I hope these pics work, would be grateful for your opinions!

I am 9dpo and I too 3 different tests and all :bfp:! I cant seem to get a good picture of them but I took a $ store (immediate fat pink line - didn't even feel the need to take it out of the casset to see it!
Took a frer got the "faintest" line on that one so I couldnt take a picture of it but I NEVER get lines on those ones

Then too a Inverness and :bfp: though again it just dosent show up in pictures. IRL they are definatly there!

I am of course testing again tomorrow to see if they get darker.....I really need thit baby to stick!

so think :witch:be due at least 4days (those that know me will know only everyother mth is regg cycle!)
BUT do evaps dissapear ? so people say they do..wot do u think ? cant even post a pic cos the flash on phone just makes the whole thing lighter n its proper light as it is !!

plus when wud u recommend i tested again ? cos IF im pg lookin by my chart i think might of only implanted 10dpo only 12dpo now !?!?

I have already asked in my cycle groups, but figured I would branch out. I am 12DPO today (test taken at 11DPO) and I am thinking evap, but figured I would ask still.
DH went to trade in some games and had a few extra dollars so for fun he picked me up a $1 store test "so you can add it to the BFN group" he said "and to help your addiction" he knows I have been antsy and wanted to test even though it was so early.
I took the test around 7:30pm (so not FMU) and waited about 3 minutes with no sign of a line, the girls were getting fussy downstairs with DH so I put it behind a box to take a picture in a little bit to add to the BFN thread. I came back no more than 15 minutes later and below is what I found. You can also check out my charts, one is in my siggy the other I asked for comments on and can view recent symptoms on it as well (I have a free FF account so I dont know how much it shows to everyone) http://fertilitygal.com/BBTChart/Opinions2.htm as you can see on both my coverline is 97.5 which has always been my average temp.
I figure get opinions so I can decide if it is worth testing again on Sat/Sun or just wait it out and see if AF shows. Since I have an irregular cycle due to BF (only had second AF in Oct. since delivering almost 9 months ago) AF can be due either this weekend or as late as the 16th (but if O is right I almost always get AF 14DPO). Anyway now that I have rambled on to the pics. This is the same test, just took a bunch of shots and these are the best to see it. the pics are a little fuzzy, but the line is solid in person.
